Quiet Retreat

We really enjoyed the accommodations. The house and location was great. We were in town for a funeral and it was really nice to have a quiet retreat that we could spend time as a family.

My daughter absolutely loved feeding the donkeys. The house was awesome, the hot tub perfect! The host, Chris, was super easy to communicate with.

Great Stay!

We have stayed at this property several times now and always enjoy our stay! The home is very clean and the owners are very nice! We enjoyed feeding the donkeys. The home was well stocked and we had plenty of wood for the fire pit.

Nice relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed it. It was peaceful and quite. We loved that it was secluded and the host leaves you alone and doesn't bother you. There is a nice firepit. We really enjoyed it.

Weekend getaway

What a wonderful stay. It was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the donkeys, feeding the fish, and playing disc golf and corn hole. Our hosts were wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great stay

We had a great time staying at the cabin over Thanksgiving. The cabin was very clean and we had no problem staying warm. Fed the fish and and talked to the donkeys. Geat place to relax.

Great country house

We had a great stay at this lovely house. While it’s out in the country, it’s close to so many fun places—Lake Murray State Park, Turner Falls, and Chickasaw Recreation area. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 3 adults. We loved the huge porch/deck, the donkeys, and the peaceful rural surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and I look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful Stay!

We completely enjoyed our stay at our farmhouse getaway. The place was adorable and spotless. We fished, made a fire in the fire pit, petted the sweet donkeys, and loved every minute of our stay. Chris was fantastic when we had any questions and we want to thank him again for being so patient with us. We hope to visit again!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, cozy, peaceful. We so enjoyed a getaway with our pups. Took our telescope and star gazed for hours. The firepit and hot tub were wonderful. Loved all the amenities and thoughtful touches. Look forward to returning again.

cozy country getaway

We had a delightful stay in Lone Grove Cabin. We came into OK to visit Turner Falls and Murray State Park. The cabin was clean, comfortable and we used all the amenities. The hot tub was a hit, the kids loved feeding the fish and petting the donkeys. We made smores in the fire pit and used the frisbee area.

A great weekend getaway

This was such a lovely little weekend trip. The house is comfortable and cozy. The AC was nice and cold, and the furniture was comfortable. We loved seeing the donkeys and feeding the fish. We sat out under the stars at the fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub. Chris was friendly and gave us all the info we needed. We will definitely be coming back!

Cute, Comfy, wonderful weekend!

Thia little cabin/home was perfect for what we were looking for. Secluded and beautiful property. We loved the cover porch area, the firepit, the hot tub, the stocked kitchen, complimentary snacks/waters, and the stocked fishing pond was all amazing. Chris was so easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and responded quickly each time! We will definitely be back!

Amazing Stay! Don't miss out!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, peaceful and cozy—this house was everything we hoped for! We rented it with another couple to relax during the last few days of the year,and it delivered perfectly. There was plenty of space for the four of us to unwind.We had so much fun feeding and petting the donkeys, feeding the fish and enjoying the fire pit and hot tub. We also attended a concert at Winstar, which was just a 30-minute drive away.Chris was fantastic and super responsive to our questions. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Memory Maker

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. My daughters were enchanted by the mini donkey and the pond full of fish, we enjoyed roasting hot dogs and s’mores on the fire, and there were so many little touches inside the home that really made the trip special. Chris was super responsive when we needed to reach him, and a great host. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we only wish that we had booked it for longer!

Relaxing weekend

We had a great time. The house was as stated on the site. Enjoyed the pond with girlfriend and Dad. This was a quiet get away in a true farm house. We were able to go to casino for concert and fun then back in about 40 minutes. While weekend for four with the price of one night in casino room for two. This is the way to go to get the best of Oklahoma countryside with the local attractions.

Something To Consider -

The reviews and photos made this property sound perfect for a relaxing country getaway from city life. The house is in a nice location and the yard is great. Our pup really enjoyed running around and stretching his legs. Unfortunately the deal breaker for us was the amount of exterior cameras located around the property. We have previously stayed in rentals where a camera or two were located near the entry door of the property (which is understandable); however there were about 8 cameras located around the property all pointed at different exterior points of the house. The cameras were only pointed at the guest house (not at the other parcels on the property or the fenced in area where Juniper and Jasper were located). Unfortunately we decided to leave early as the amount of cameras felt too intrusive and made it hard for us to relax. Chris was responsive to our text and concerns. No hard feelings, we just wish the property disclosed the cameras at the time of booking. I am pleased to see that "exterior cameras" has since been added to the listing.
