「The place is located at South Avenue within the ancient city, near to Pingyao South Gate, or 15min walking distance from Small South Gate (alternative, take buggy for 10yuan). The signage for Hongyuyuan hotel was not obvious, it is easier to find using address. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is an ancient building, do not expect perfect heating during winter. Food and massage are nearby, is very convenient. The hotel have an restaurant, the food is not bad」
