"We had a wonderful stay at The Houses of History. It was a unique experience, for our family as the property has a lot of character. The pool was perfect for cooling off during the hot weather and our kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and ready to help. Overall, a memorable stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different."

"A very clean and comfortable hotel with extra amenities like bathrobes a.s.o. The breakfast was extraordinary good. There was also a spa that we didn`t use. The only minus was that the parking was really hard to find since one had to drive around the quarter and there where also other parking garages, which didn’t belong to the hotel. The last parking garage was the one of the hotel. Good location close to the Balaton See."

"The actual place was nice. The check in process was challenging. We had to download an app and put in our passport information, etc. we didn’t have good internet service so it was very difficult. It would be nice if they provided more than one washcloth and if they provided shower soaps. The toilet was situated very strange. It was very quiet and clean. We were alone in the whole building. "

"The staff were all very helpful. The hotel is very modern and in excellent condition. It has its own private beach and gardens which were lovely. The one thing they could improve is to provide a few more parasol shades for the many sun loungers. Otherwise, it is perfect. The breakfast is lovely and plentiful. Something for everyone.
