The location was wonderful. It is on the corner so had a wider view of the canal. The house was very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed the pool. Check-in was easy and communication was excellent. The only drawback for us was the opaque glass sliding door into the main bedroom which didn't totally block lights on in the rest of the house.

Great getaway home

This was an absolutely amazing property. Not only a great outdoor area around the pool, but excellent fishing off the dock and so much to do within walking distance of fisherman‘s village.. The inside had so much space and was beautifully renovated.

Excellent property

This is a beautiful house with excellent views of the canal. The house has been updated with a very well appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The pool is heated making it comfortable to swim in cooler weather. The only negative (although it didn’t matter to us) is that there are no tv’s in the two spare bedrooms.overall an excellent stay. I would definitely come back.

Great vacation

The home was well maintained and the host was very responsive to questions about the home. She was sincerely interested in providing what we needed for a great vacation. The home was open and airy with great water views. The grandchildren were in the pool for hours and loved it. The house was very well stocked with supplies and household items Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a plus. We really enjoyed our time at the home and would recommend it to others - the beds were very comfortable! The space was well organized for individual and group activities. We hope to return next year!

Great Way to start a New Year of Hope

Even though the weather was chilly for South Florida, we were able to enjoy the heated pool and sunshine. The house was welcoming, light-filled, and comfortable. We enjoyed the safety of the neighborhood. The canal dock was a draw; large fish came to munch on the barnacles that were attached to the support pilings. The only drawback was the residual clean up in the area parks and beach, which still had hurricane damage and debris, but that had nothing to do with the house. Daniela was quick to respond to our questions. We hope to return!

Definitely a Do-Over

The property was perfect! It was recently renovated and looks great! It was very spacious, beautifully decorated, well supplied, has great amenities (including a heated pool), and is in a wonderful location on a canal at the end of a cul-de-sac.The property owner communicated very effectively and efficiently. The check-out was not stressful at all. I would definitely recommend this property!

Mom & Daughter trip

The house is beautiful. Love the décor! View of the water way is amazing, pool was a relaxing time, thank you for having pool floats for us and warming it up a bit since it was "chilly" for FL weather! Wish we had time to stay longer. Took us a minute to find the laundry didn't' realize it was thru the garage. Location for us was easy to find and close to everything we wanted to do. We were sad that the Peace River Wildlife Center was not open. We are assuming because of damage from the Hurricane. Looked like there was still clean up happening around the area. We spent the day at the Fishermans's Village shopping and eating! All in all a great trip, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed (coffee maker k-cups and tea's, hairdryer, pool towels, sunscreen, pool floats and so much more) Daniela was quick to respond with any questions we had and suggestions of things to do as well. We would 100% stay here again, thank you to our host's you have a terrific place to share with people coming to Punta Gorda!

Great Backyard

This property was exactly as advertised. The curb view is good but the back yard was GREAT! The pool and the channels must be seen to be appreciated. I wish I would have brought some fishing gear as there are some big fish waiting to be caught from the private dock. Inside, the house was laid out well and felt very comfortable. Owners were great about communication and very friendly.

Great home in great location

Home was great. It is clean, plenty of room for everyone (we had 2 adults and 4 kids), close to town and the local attractions. Everything was new and it was just as it appeared in the listing. Would stay there again.

Perfect!!

I only have positive feedback for a lovely, well- kept, clean, nicely furnished home on a quiet cul-de-sac … and from the lanai, a beautiful water way with gorgeous view! We very much enjoyed the fantastic swimming pool!! The owners were extremely welcoming via VRBO messages and offered immediate and kind answers to our questions! The beds were comfortable too! I would love the opportunity to rent again. The location in Punta Gorda is convenient to the Punta Gorda airport, and our favorite beach - Venice Beach. Plus, only 40 minutes to Miramar Outlets in Estero or a drive to downtown Ft. Myers. Thank you for sharing your home!

Wonderful Trip, unfortunate ending.

Beautiful property, nice location. We enjoyed the pool, fishing on the canal, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, the bedrooms we very nice - loved the mattress and pillows! This was a great trip for our family, she even gave us an hour extension on check out since our flight was later in the afternoon. Unfortunately after we left we received a message saying we had left the house a mess and she was considering keeping part of our deposit. We picked up everthing, stripped the beds, started two loads of laundry gathered all the towels, and took out all the trash, we tried to leave the house as we found it. As we left we did decide to use up the last of our food instead of throwing it away so we made sandwiches on paper towels since we already started the dishwasher. We did not wipe down the counter again since we knew the cleaners were right behind and apparently this was not acceptable. I did expain this in response and received a "No worries" response. This really dampened our experience and has become our strongest memory of the vacation.

Wonderful getaway!!

This home was perfect! It had everything we needed and much more! It was spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed long walks through the gorgeous neighborhood and spent hours relaxing by the pool. Vicki was wonderful to work with and answered all questions quickly. A must stay in Punta Gorda

Vicki, the property owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house set up was perfect. It has large common areas and the bedrooms are very private. It felt like the house went on forever! The house is minutes away from a downtown area full of restaurants as well as fisherman’s village. If you’re looking to stay in Punta Gorda… stay here!!
