We had a good overall experience at Melia. The landscaping was beautiful, the food had a good variety, and the water park was great for kids. The resort has a very laid-back atmosphere, though there isn't a lot to do on the property if you're looking for activities. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Melia Caribe Beach Resort in Punta Cana. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Mr. Juan Santos the hotel manager , who was extremely helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable with his excellent customer service and kindness. The food was good with plenty of options to choose from, and the service throughout the resort was excellent. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation experience. We would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Very beautiful hotel! The beach was beautiful clean! The staff was so kind, my son mentioned to them that he was going to the beach and they gave him some beach toys. The food was good, the drinks were really good. Only problem i left like i was waiting a lonnng time for the trolleys to pick us from places. And i tried ordering room service noone ever picked up but overall it was a wonderful experience. Wonderful hotel!

The Good - Great experience, we loved the location, the views were stunning, staff were friendly, overall had a really good time. The Bad - Although the hotel and its grounds were huge, it just lacked something. The location of the night entertainment lacks the social aspect. We much preferred the bar down at rumba next to the beach, just a shame the entertainment wasn't down that end of the hotel at night. The restaurant booking was a faff, sometimes missing out and having to use the extremely busy buffet. Tapenyaki was beaut by the way. Overall, we did enjoy but would like to try other hotels next time.

The beach is absolutely amazing, the food in some of the restaurants is good. And that's it for the good things I could say the service is terrible, transportation was a nightmare rooms are a bit out of date our the safety box in the room does not work, I was also offered complimentary wine during check-in, but it was never delivered for make things worse, when we tried to complain, nobody was willing to help.

The named Reynold helped a lot! Great man! A few things I have noticed; Room service — Please make sure we change the bedsheets and pillow cases as they were dirty. Food — Was great, but just wanted to recommend adding more vegetarian options, my husband is a vegetarian. Overall, the stay was great! Definitely recommended to come back in future.

This was our second stay at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort, and once again we had an amazing vacation! One of the biggest reasons our trip was so enjoyable was because of our wonderful ambassador, Anyerina Gautreaux. Anyerina was always available whenever we needed assistance and went above and beyond to make sure our family had everything we needed. She was kind, professional, caring, and always greeted us with a smile. Traveling with children can be challenging, but she made our stay easy, stress-free, and truly special. Thank you, Anyerina, for making our second stay at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort so memorable. You are one of the reasons we look forward to coming back again. We highly recommend this beautiful resort and especially the outstanding service provided by Anyerina!

Meliá Caribe Beach Resort was a very nice, family-friendly resort. I loved all the activities they had for the kids; there was always something fun to do. Diego was amazing and very helpful during our check-in. We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, and he was able to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. The amenities and room were very nice. The only downside I would say is that they didn’t always have beach towels available, and it was sometimes hard to get in contact with the lobby. Other than that, it was a good stay overall. If you’re looking for a perfect resort for kids, I would definitely recommend this one. The Fun Republic area was also amazing and added so much fun to the experience.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Melia Caribe. From the second we walked in, we were greeted with hospitality and kindness that set the tone for our whole stay. Our personal concierge, Any, was fantastic. She made all of our dinner reservations, gave us helpful information on hours of operation, and walked us through spa options. Honestly, all the staff was so kind and attentive. They made us feel like kings and queens the entire vacation. This wasn't our first time at Melia Caribe. We visited 10 years ago and loved it so much that we knew we had to come back. This time around, there was even more to enjoy, including a game room and a splash park for even more fun. As frequent travelers, we don't say this lightly: we will definitely be returning. Melia Caribe continues to exceed expectations, and we can't wait for our next visit.

The pools where nice and clean, beach area clean only on the level side, make sure you get your room on the level area, the deluxe room, needs a little TLC. Breakfast: the eggs and fruits were good, but you you want pancakes,French toast they were very hard, they said that we had to make reservations to restaurant for dinner, but sometimes they didn’t have any space for us. Buffet restaurant where okay, I ate something that made me very sick of my stomach, then my husband got sick, we were 9 in total only two didn’t get sick of their stomach. Staff very helpful

Food was horrible, especially breakfast/lunch. All the food was so dry and not tasty at all. The only place that was somewhat good was the steak house. The rooms were clean but outdated. The staff were not as friendly as they should be.(some were nice) the kids water park was great, kids enjoyed. The big pool was nice, but noone comes around to ask you for drinks, like most resorts do, you have to get drinks by yourself. There is walking to do if you dont want to walk, you can take shuttles and they take you around the properties. The worst part is that there is noo FUN at night there is absolutely nothing to do after dinner. They have some lame entertainment, noone seems to enjoy. There isnt even that many people. Overall i would not come back to this resort.

For my family and me, it was our first time visiting Punta Cana, and nothing better to choose this Resort. - I will start first with the lobby where Felipe, Oscar, Manager Juan Santos, anyerinne, and Any welcomed during the stay. They shared all the details about the resort, the activities for the kids, they already made reservations in 3 restaurants for us, and on top of that, they upgraded our room ... Amazing! thank you guys, for taking care of us! They shared a whats up group with us, so you can text them during your stay. - Paul was the best at the pool bar, serving drinks and always with a smile and patience. - Room service was excellent. - Every night, the lobby was packed with kids and grown-ups watching the World Cup and enjoying the activities that they had. - The resort is giving you an experience as if you are in a small town with all the pools and restaurants, picking you up with small golf buses where you can wait for them around the property as a stop bus. My kids loved to ride the buses all day around :) So much thinks to be said but i will just say that every family or couple must visit this place. One more time thank you all for making our vacation unforgetable!

We have recently returned from an amazing holiday at the Melia Caribe Beach hotel., We paid extra for the Level club which was well worth the money as you get your own part of the beach, pool, level club lounge with top end drinks, plus 2 a la cartes especially The Riviera where you can have breakfast and lunch daily. The staff at The Riviera were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you especially Celia and Cristian and also Ramon and Richard. The Level club lounge was a nice place to chill out in the evenings, although open all day. We were well looked after by Maria and Victoria. The rooms are a little tired but cleaned daily and very comfortable and a good size, with the fridge restocked daily for Level Club members. The grounds are huge but there are several land trains running all the time. The gardens are well tended with peacocks and other exotic species wandering around. The gardeners definitely do an excellent job. The beach is superb with the lack of seaweed, the best we have seen in DR and we have travelled there many times. Also waiter service on the beach is great. Pools are excellent, very refreshing with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, also the same on the beach. Food is good with plenty of choice, sometimes it could be a little hotter. There are plenty of a la cartes but there was a wait for the food to arrive in these, but not a problem. Would definitely return.

The stay started out a bit rough, but it eventually became much better. our host Anny super-friendly and genuine care are what made our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. The pool area is amazing, and the entire resort has a wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere. We chose to upgrade to The Level, and our room was fantastic. The buffet restaurants were okay for breakfast and lunch, but they were not the highlight of the resort. The à la carte restaurants, however, were outstanding. We dined multiple times at The Level Restaurant, as well as the Mexican, Dominican, and Italian restaurants, and every meal was excellent. I would especially like to thank Luis (both of them) at the beach for their friendliness and excellent service, as well as Franklin (Chico) and Ronny from the entertainment team. Transportation around the resort was a nightmare at times, but we truly appreciated your help and apologies. Mr. Barceló and Mr. Santos, it would be very important to have more trolleys available for guests. The pool was a lot of fun, with a variety of activities and water aerobics. The kids loved the splash area with the slides! We had no complaints about the food, and no one in our group got sick, despite some concerns mentioned in other reviews. We would absolutely recommend Meliá Caribe Beach and would definitely consider returning for another vacation.

Our stay at the Meliá Caribe Beach Resort Punta Cana had both positive and disappointing aspects. Without a doubt, the hotel’s biggest strengths are its location and the beach. They are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. I would give 5 stars for that alone. I also want to recognize the housekeeping team. Our room was kept clean throughout our stay, and they did a very good job. I would give 4 stars for the cleanliness of the room. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the customer service and the dining experience. On several occasions, we felt like we had to repeatedly ask the waitstaff just to receive our drinks or food. The service was slow, inconsistent, and simply did not meet the expectations of a resort of this level. As for the food, it was also below our expectations. The quality and flavor were disappointing, making the overall dining experience one of the weakest parts of our vacation. Overall, I would recommend this resort for its beautiful property, amazing beach, and excellent location. However, if great customer service and good food are important parts of your vacation, this hotel still has a lot of room for improvement. Unfortunately, those shortcomings had a significant impact on our experience and left us with no desire to return.
