My wife and I were looking forward to returning to the place where we had gotten married over 13 years ago. We had a very negative experience with the first part of the trip with us waiting for transport to the hotel for over 2 hours. We called the hotel directly and a person whose name I can't recall informed me that he would be sending transport via the What's App app. After receiving the text from the rep we eventually got to the hotel. Once their we discovered that the transport was not via the hotel but had been re-routed to another transport company not initially established with the hotel. We spoke, to Srcarlat Castillo, who was amazing and assisted us with this bad start to our vacation. I paid for an upgrade to enjoy the LEVEL benefits of the hotel and make our stay more enjoyable. We had a great time enjoying the activities and the great music every evening! Shout out to all the staff who work and entertain - they all do an amazing job! Again, Ms. Castillo went above and beyond to make the rest of our stay memorable.

The wife and I back at the spot were we got married!

The most horrible experience I’ve had at a resort in Punta Cana. Please do not waste your money. 80% of the staff were rude, Shuttle drivers ignored us when we waved at them to stop for a ride, the restaurant food was not good except breakfast at the buffet and Tauro. The rooms weren’t properly stocked most days so I would have to call for them. You cannot call from your room to make reservations but had to go to the lobby, which was not only inconvenient, but difficult since most shuttle drivers ignored us. Please do yourself a favor and just go to Paradisus. They have never disappointed.

Jamás regresaría a este hotel, pésima comida, pésimo servicio, para todo tiene costo extra el hotel, ambiente muy flojo, ninguna actividad fuera de lo común, no nos dieron las habitaciones que eran, en pocas palabras pésimo servicio de hotel, no lo recomiendo nada.

This property is easily one of the worst hotels in Punta Cana. First the hotel shows pictures and parts of the hotel that do not look anything like the actual thing. Second, the level package that is extra for higher tier drinks is useless because they only have a couple of bars in the hotel in which you can access the drinks you paid for which makes it inconvenient and it’s self served in one of those bars which makes it even worst, plus the bars are in the ends of the hotel. Rooms are old and without working AC. The room service takes over 1,5 hours to get to you, no matter if you got a regular package or you are in a VIP suite. The staff has no sense of hospitality, not in the front desk, nor in any of the restaurants. They have roaches in the main buffet, which I saw personally. The staff does not clean the floor after food has fallen, the staff picks food from the same place the guest are eating, they brush their teeth in the guest bathrooms. The hotel club is club isn’t really a club, it’s a small area inside the casino, which only plays music for 2 hours. The casino bar is a cash bar even though they advertise it as included in your drinking package, and they also don’t have the higher tier drinks that Level package guests paid for. In conclusion, I don’t recommend anyone ever going to this hotel. It’s was trash, the management and whoever is in charged of running the hotel should be fired. Waste of money and honestly a scam, with the videos and pictures shown here.

Was not worth the flight. The property looked r pretty but the food was awful and this is not all inclusive. We got there and stayed doe 5 days and most of the restaurants we wanted to eat were all reserved up so we had the option to pay for a restaurant or a buffet. There were no servers on the beach. We got hustled every day on the beach with people trying to sell us illegal drugs. They put us in a room the first time and the room was already occupied. The room service was not responsive. We asked for them to come and change the sheets because they smelled bad and no one ever came. I found hair in our shower the first night as well. The resort was also so big that you had to take golf carts everywhere. The spa was also nothing to rave about. Probably worst massage I’ve ever had. Save your money or go somewhere else.

Here is an honest review of our stay. Pros: 1. The property is extremely beautiful. The grounds are very well kept. Everything was very clean. 2. The beach was beautiful. White sand. Tons of seating areas. 3. The pool was gorgeous. Very tropical vibes. Also perk that there was a bar in the pool! 4. Lots of animals on the grounds- peacocks, cats, rabbits, ducks, birds, fish, turtles 5. Very safe! Cons: 1. The customer service really needs a lot of improvement. I didn’t feel like we were provided service. No one really told us anything, we constantly had to ask- and when we did ask it seemed like we were bothering the staff. Not very friendly 2. Our room was not ready once we arrived. We were told check in was at 3 pm. We arrived at almost 4pm. Front desk tried to upsell us a “upgraded” room for only $600 more- meanwhile, it was actually the exact same room I initially booked and paid for. 3. The only restaurants that were really included were the two buffets. The hibachi/sushi restaurant, the Italian, the Mexican and the Dominican restaurant were all extra and you had to make reservations ahead of time. 4. The ATM was not working. 5. The game area was not working. 6. The carts that transport you around the property are extra. 7. Paper cups for all drinks. This was disappointing.

The service was not great. We paid for the Level service and got nothing out of it. We were assigned a butler, who didn’t follow through with simple request. We asked for additional towels and blankets for the room which we requested through the butler. After three times of asking, I had to call the front desk to get these items. We also had toilet issues (not flushing) which had to be service multiple times to the point they changed out the whole toilet in the room. Our butler also failed to respond to messages to make reservations at the select restaurants so almost every meal was at the standard buffet. Highly disappointed with the service. Food was ok not great. I would not choose this property again.

The location was ok but the beach was very bad. The water was not clean very dirty and couldn’t swim. It was no service at the beach area. The restaurant at the beach was completely empty and no one went there because they didn’t serve you. It looked like a private area. The service was unacceptable and not responsible. I had an issue with the bathroom door and I needed the key to open. They lied to me every time I called them and they come after a 1 hour and a half to open that door. The room was clean. Also, too many dirty and old cars were running around making noise and pollution. The drivers were not careful about people walking around.

Hi The property is okay, the dining experience you have to make reservations for every restaurant besides the buffet restaurant and they said every restaurant was reserved already. Had to take transportation to most places on the property

It was a nice property very large. Waiting and catching trains is sometimes inconvenient. The service depending on where you went varies. On the last day we a had breakfast up front because it was inside. I had to get up and go get my own water and staff was just standing around chatting. However, at the level Buffett they were always super attentive and the service was lovely. Food was overall ok but the drinks were on point. Shows in the evening are great and the kids loved it. The star park is great as well as the kids club. The beach unfortunately had a lot of seaweed but all of Bavaro beach seems to be full of seaweed. It’s not the same Bavaro beach that we visited in 2013. It was ok and we made the best of it but was not too impressed with this resort. Don’t plan to go back.

We had our preteen and teenage kids and upgraded to the Level when we arrived. We all had a great time. The staff were excellent and friendly, especially Joan Sosa. He and my husband made a huge birthday surprise for me and he went above and beyond throughout our stay. The only complaint I have is the water at the beach is full of sargassum but the beach itself was clean. Pools were great. Food at the buffets were surprisingly good. We only ate at the Mexican restaurant besides the buffet and it was just okay. We had a great time
