Je suis revenu dans cet établissement du Lubéron, situé dans un parc magnifique, J’apprécie le calme, les chambres confortables et bien climatisées. Le couple qui possède la propriété peut conseiller les balades à faire dans le Luberon, Ils sont charmants. Très agréable séjour

Ganz tolle Unterkunft wen. Man etwas Ruhe braucht. Die Lage ist ok, nicht zentral aber mit dem Auto überall hinkommend meistens so 45min zu den netten Städtchen. Jean-Luc ist ein toller Gastgeber, der gerne auch Tips für tolle Ziele hat zudem spricht er sehr gut Englisch. Das Frühstück war ausreichen es gab jeden Tag Obst und Joghurt, Croissant, Brot und Marmelade. Das Zimmer ist groß mit tollem Badezimmer - leider fehlt ein Ganzkörperspiegel - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Les Mazets in Oct

We had such a relaxing week at Les Mazets. Extremely comfortable accommodations, centrally located to explore Provence. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast every morning on the patio, and the hosts were so helpful in providing some recommendations for our visit. Overall loved our stay here, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the countryside.

Séjour parfait Disponibilité et amabilité des hôtes . Domaine au cœur de la pinède , se baigner dans la piscine avec les cigales en bruit de fond et l’odeur des pins est un vrai bonheur . Je recommande vivement les Mazets du Luberon

Une bonne adresse pour un séjour tranquille

Belle chambre et bonne literie, beau cadre calme et arboré, bon petit-déjeuner, hôtes sympathiques. La propreté est convenable mais on pourrait attendre mieux compte tenu du prix. Mini bar en panne.

When looking for accommodation one of the criteria was a heated pool. This listing advertised a heated pool as of May 1. When we arrived the host acknowledged that the pool was open and heated at 27 degrees the day before. In reality the pool and pool area were unusable. Leafs covered the pool cover and seating around the pool area. Had we attempted to use the pool we would have had to roll the cover up and back on the pool after we used it. The patio outside our unit was not swept up from leafs and hence the leaves were carried into the room. Despite that the room was not swept in the three days were there. On a positive note the host was accommodating fulfilling all requests and the breakfasts were excellent.

Delightful week at Les Mazets

Really enjoyable stay and Jean-Luc and Karine were most welcoming. Very good location for visiting the most picturesque sights in the Luberon, no local venues for evening walks or entertainment, but lovely quiet rural spot and delightful birdsong. Super breakfasts on our own private terrace. Only drawback- difficulties paying at end as no card machine- so bank transfer best probably if it doesn’t keep timing out from UK, (or oodles of cash withdrawals!)

A real find! Centrally located in the hills of the south Luberon and not far from many of Provence's most popular and visited cities and villages, including Aix-en-Provence, Lourmarin, Bonnieux and Gordes. Les Mazets du Luberon consists of a series of refurbished and beautifully restored guest accommodations spread over several hectares. Owners Karine and Jean Luc did the renovations and manage the facility. Included, by the way, in the room rate is a very substantial daily breakfast, including coffee, pastries, and freshly-squeezed orange juice. We loved the view of the Luberon mountain behind and the Durance River valley below, and enjoyed the fresh air perfumed by the scent of pine and local herbs. To say that the night sky is star filled is perhaps to understate how breath-taking it is. Also of note: the infamous Mistral is part of life in Provence, and being on the lee side of the Luberon mountain affords some measure of respite when the notorious wind blows. No place is perfect, and the extensive use of travertine tiles, inside and out, can get slippery when wet, especially in the shower. (No grab bars in the shower, either.) And as a personal note, while my preference is for my breakfast coffee to come from a French press, the single-use coffee pod machines are ubiquitous, and the machine in our room worked just fine. All in all, we would not only gladly return ourselves to stay again at Les Mazets du Luberon, but we also plan to send future surplus houseguests there.
