「This was hands down the best experience ive ever had with STRs. The staff and owner were so kind and generous. Woke up to costa rican coffee at the door every morning, the best home cooked CR breakfast with fruit straight from the property. It was a 3 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to the city. When i come back Im not staying any where else but here.」

「En este caso fue muy bonito la visita al lugar. Lo malo del sitio y no se si es un problema en general de la zona, es el agua. Cuando tomaba las duchas, el agua olía a escremento o aguas negras. Observé que el agua la obtienen de unos tanques. Lo demás bien, pero, alquiler de bicis muy caro ($10) cuando lo normal es a $5」

「HOSTEL SAID THEY DIDN'T TAKE RESERVATIONS FROM EXPEDIA??? Booked a bed in the dorm and when I arrived the hostel told me they only take reservations over whatsapp even though I had a confirmation for my two night stay booking on expedia. They then said that they had a bed I could book for 3 times the cost that I had reserved on expedia. I would have gone somewhere else but the Easter weekend is super busy in Costa Rica and EVERYWHERE was fully booked. After a bunch of angry conversations I got...

「Nice place with interesting projects, l experienced a different way of living, more close to the nature. They have a comunity kitchen with nice and cheap vegan food, and probiotics fermentations. I got a chance to saw them working on cacao production and chocolate making, so you can have strange smells or flies around the kitchen. It a little jungle in the city, like indigenous house with open spaces and roof top micro houses. The staff is cool and helpfull if you need anything don't be afraid...

「The host was wonderful but it is very low budget. The mattress was disgusting and there were animal dropping under the bed. It had a great balcony that overlooked the ocean across the street, but I was glad to leave」

「Lovely resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. You wouldn’t even know it’s there. Need to have coffee makers in the rooms along with access to communal water and ice. For the price, it was expensive.」

「This was an amazing property with lovely, patient staff, and owners who had an answer for each of the (many, many) questions we had.
