Excellent Beachfront Getaway

Our stay at Mariposa on Las Conches was excellent! Bed was comfortable pillows were a bit hard, the view and ocean was more beautiful than we expected. The place had everything we needed to make our stay great. The only issue was the sliding glass door came off the track, but it was easy to get back in. We notified Oceano and they said they would have it fixed. The neighbors that own the place next door were AMAZING, and it looks like the the other place next door is vacant and has been for awhile. It was great to walk out the back door and cast our fishing poles! We Caught a few fish. There are vendors offering knickknacks, drinks, jewelry and massages. The location is great! About a 10 minute drive to the Malecon part of town. We felt very safe. Place was clean. We can’t wait to go back!

Nice Affordable Beach Front

Cute little place! Cheaper than you can get a Holiday Inn room in Scottsdale on the beach. Nothing fancy but for a small group who wants to spend most of their time on the beach it is perfect. I would rent again. Also, Oceano rentals, the property management company that runs this rental and many others in the area are awesome! They always help out at a moments notice with any and all needs. I think next time I will rent directly through them.

Beautiful Beach

The property is as listed. Located on a beautiful beach that is not crowded and every day Peter would come around and deliver burritos, tamales, tortillas, if requested. Massages were readily available as were delicious pineapple drinks. Very happy with the stay. Felt safe, condo was clean and everyone was very accommodating and kind.

Lovely on the beach

The place was perfect for our family with two adults and two young children. The beach is right off of the deck!

Amazing Location!

It just doesn't get any better than that! On the beach right from the patio. The property itself could use some updates and maintenance but overall good.

Terrific location

The location of this property is its best selling point. To be right on the beach is heavenly. Parking was also very nice and convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with items. The townhouse was attractive although well used. The beds were standard cheap ones so I was glad we didn't stay a long time. The units on either side of us had families with small kids. I did not hear anything from the shared walls and it was fun to watch the kids have fun. The check in process isn't terrible but it is a little more convoluted than most rentals we've used. It would be nice to be able to go straight to the rental rather than stop in at an office first. The office does provide a lot of information for first-time Puerto Pensaco visitors. That's especially nice since Las Conchas is organized a little differently. The toilet in the en-suite bathroom had not been cleaned - there was sand all over the seat. And the shower in the second bathroom trickled water out although the water pressure in the en-suite bathroom was good. We did not notify anyone about either of these problems so I'm not deducting stars for them since we didn't give them a chance to make things right. Once we get into a rental, we really don't want to have to worry about repair or cleaning folks popping back in. We would stay again. The location is well worth it.

My Thoughts

Location is great right on the beach. Check in friendly efficient. The furniture is old and frayed. Torn and stained. Patio chairs are old and uncomfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen are great except the kitchen has only one rickety bar stool. Long story short, the place needs sprucing up.
