Great resort. Great food. Great people. The only problem I had was at check in, they only had rooms on opposite sides of the resort. I expected two room, at least in the same building. They said the only way they would do that is if I “upgraded”. So after a long day of flights and traveling, I ponied up the extra $400 to stay in the room next to my kids. After hearing of similar experiences from some other people at the pool, I realized I got scammed. They prey on families that have young kids and try to get them to pay extra just to stay close to each other. What a shame. Such a great place to stay and the staff were great. All that they did that was great, and the only taste that was left in my mouth was the scam they do to get you to pay extra.

If you are coming to Mexico primarily for the OCEAN this is NOT the resort for you. If you are like me and love the beach and Mexico water you will be so disappointed here. The beach is DISGUSTING beyond anything I’ve ever seen. They have a serious sewage problem that stinks up the entire property. The seaweed is an issue too but nothing compared to the smell. Other than that, the property itself is clean but rooms anre out dated. We had anome issues with rude employees but most were nice and helpful. The food was very good. We made reservations and were turned away and when we complained they tried to make it up to us by making new reservations but that also was screwed up so personally I would not go back and I would not recommend.
