The property is one-of-a-kind. What it lacks in cleanliness and maintenance, it makes up for by the kindness of the staff. "Papa Jo" went well beyond the typical expectations for a host and did quite literally everything in his power to make sure that we had a good time. You want to go snorkeling? Jo will call his friend on a private island so that you can spend the morning there. Want to get to another beach? Jo will organize all the transportation himself. Aren't any ferry tickets left to return back to the mainland? Jo will accompany you on the two-hour Jeepney trip to the neighboring port to make sure that you can get back to the mainland. Our stay at Encenada Beach Resort was far from luxury, but it was one hell of an adventure and I would recommend it to anyone open to a truly unique Filipino experience.

Where our family found peace and serenity...

If you are picky and wants a luxurious place, Encenada Beach Resort is not for you. But if what you want is peace and serenity then Encenada is the place to be! It was a very relaxing place away from the city. I just wish the food will be improved because I felt that it is too pricey and not worth it for a food lover like me. But if I'll visit Puerto Galera again soon, I would choose to go back to Encenada because my kids love the secluded place. Just be extra nice to the staff. Give your smile for free because they love to see people who visits them happy. Look for ate May because she is ready to assist you and smile back at you. Thank you Encenada. Until next time. :)

Vacation 2017

I really loved my stayed here at Ensenada Beach Resort. Manager Joy(ce) was awesome! When i complained about the room (no hot water, no tv, internet signal weak) she put me into a bungalow right in front the beach for the same price and gave me an internet device to get a better internet signal. I care little about tv set because i watched little tv at home but i do need my internet signal so i can read the news and find info about what's around me like fun places to go to or things to do. Thank you Joy and staff, you do care about your guest and put long hours (14 hrs) every day with a smile to make sure your guest are taken care of. I'm sure i'll come back again to this place. Joy you're the girl!! Thanks

The place is nice but the hotel needs a lot of improvements. They need to clean up the bathrooms because its poorly maintained. The location is awesome but the hotel should match it.

Eigentümer sind freundlich, Umgebung Ok. Aber schwer erreichbar und in schon leicht heruntergekommenen Zustand. Das Resort hat wohl schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Aber für den Preis noch erträglich.

It was OK

Quiet, inexpensive hotel on a good beach. Air conditioning doubles the price of the room, and there is no hot water. For people prepared to deal with this, it was a bargain. Food is a bit on the expensive side and food quality was fair for this type of resort. Not recommended for complainers or overly sensitive people. Access was substandard (200M up a steep hill to local transportation). Air conditioned car to the pier for 200 pesos is recommended for those not willing or able to climb it. We enjoyed amateur snorkeling off the beach and the absence of vendors. Will probably visit again and rent a scooter for a few days.

Le pire des hotel

Si vous avez deja reserver, vaux mieux perdre votre reservation que y aller, matelas horible mousse 10 cm, toilette bouché, pas d'eau chaude, vraiment pire que sale, je ne comprend pas que expedia peux vendre des hotels comme cela, plage déguelasse!!!!!!' Ect.......de plus il faut decendre une pente incroyable pour y acceder, persone ne vient vous aider.
