Incredibly elvish architecture for a relaxing stay on the stream.

The perfect spot for a romantic getaway, your own personal timeout, or a quiet place to stay while attending business meetings. Fresh mountain air, a rushing stream, and excellent bed. This little slice of heaven is just a three minute drive or ten minute walk from Sundance Resort where you will find restaurants, skiing, live music, art studio, gift shop, spa, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, ziplining, and flyfishing.

This one bedroom suite is luxurious in every way with a beautifully designed bathroom. Designated office space is hidden in the armoire for your convenience.

You will have this dwelling to yourself along with the two outside decks with gas fireplace. The hot tub and outdoor shower are 30 yards away at the main house and available for your private use.

Our supply room for housekeeping is on the ground level, it has a separate entrance. Two parking spots are available. No street parking is allowed.

Couples getaway trip

We have nothing negative to say in the least. We had such a good time! Everything was very tidy & clean. It exceeded our expectations. The creek flowing through the side of the carriage house was so stunning. This is a place I’d recommended for all couples. The jacuzzi was a really nice touch we loved. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful getaway cabin

This cabin was simply gorgeous! Super close to the Sundance resort and in the middle of some of the most beautiful fall colors we’ve seen! It’s on the alpine loop which is a beautiful drive in the fall. Can’t say enough good things about the beauty of this place!

Remarkable Cabin

This is a unique and exquisite cabin--a work of art! Magnificent location next to a rushing stream. Beautiful and cozy accomodations and outstanding scenery. Hosts are kind and so help[ful. We Love the Carriage House

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and 1st year anniversary and loved the atmosphere the simple space provided. It was very refreshing to spend time together alone in the mountains in this cabin, to hear the rushing water from the stream 24/7, to smell the woody, pine needle scent of the cabin, and to feel the coziness of warm, soft light. We'd recommend this place eagerly to couples we know and wish we could spend longer and longer in this perfect get-away. We dream about coming again next year.

Quiet and loved the outdoor living space!

This property was so nice to get away from the busyness of day-to-day life. The stream that ran past the house was soothing and drowned out all the noise that could've been heard from the neighbors (we heard not a thing). The cabin was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside by the firepits and enjoying our meals outside. The only thing that would've enhanced our stay is to add hot chocolate to the selection of K-cups. The owner was nice to give us access to a different wi-fi network as it was not working when we arrived. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

Magical Mountain Getaway!

We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful place! I was stunned by the stream flowing right next to it! We got ready here for our mountain hike elopement, and it was perfect - we had everything we needed to be comfortable. This place felt like a little piece of mountain luxury. The wood interior was seriously incredible. Our favorite memory was seeing the stars through the pine trees at the hot tub. We will definitely remember this place for so many years to come and we cannot wait to come back and celebrate some anniversaries. Do not miss out on the chance to stay here, we would recommend it to everyone!!!

Cozy getaway

We come here every year!! We love it!! The cabin is so cozy and relaxing. We went hiking and kayaking. Saw the sound of music. Enjoyed all the good food that Sundance has to offer. We ended up bringing our two grandkids for a couple of days. They loved it!! Enjoyed the hot tub a few times. One thing I missed was the couch on the desk. I love to lay on it and read my book and take a nap. We will be back next year!!!

Awesome Anniversary Get-Away!

We recently stayed for a week at the Carriage House for our 35th wedding anniversary. We found the home to be warm, cozy, and romantic. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We spent many hours just hanging out on the decks next to the roaring stream! We took advantage of the proximity to the Sundance resort for a meal and a long ride on the lifts for *incredible* 360 degree views of snow covered peaks. Brunch at the Foundry grill was great! We also enjoyed exploring the small towns of Heber, Midway snd Charleston. We loved the buffalo pizza at Cafe Galleria in Midway, and burgers at the Back 40 in Heber. We recommend the Heber Valley Dairy in Midway for their cheeses and ice cream! Our time at the Carriage House was amazingly relaxing and we can’t recommend it enough!
