"We’ve stayed at the Brass Key several times over the years and have always had a great experience, which made this most recent visit especially disappointing.
For this trip, we booked the King Cottage, and unfortunately it did not meet the standard we’ve come to expect from the property. The cottage appeared to be in need of maintenance, with peeling paint, stains inside the drawers, a bathroom window that wouldn’t open, and a TV that did not work during our stay. The space also felt quite small and didn’t align with the overall quality and reputation we associate with the Brass Key.
That said, the staff were as warm and welcoming as ever, and we continue to appreciate the beautiful grounds and amenities, which remain a highlight of the property.
After our stay, I reached out via email to share this feedback but did not receive a response, which added to the frustration. I hope the management addresses these issues, as we’ve had such positive experiences in the past"
