"Loved it. Great hotel, great location"

"We stayed here for five nights to check out the hotel as a base for guests coming to our son’s wedding and were very pleased with most aspectos of our visit. The hotel is nicely updated, clean and bright. Staff were helpful and restaurant was pretty good. Tranportation to/from the airport vía MAX was super easy and cheap. The hotel is just across the street from the Convention Center stop. The neighborhood has some unhoused people loitering across the street at the Denny’s and another building but they never bothered us and we felt pretty safe walking around, even at night. There are several fast food restaurants nearby, but not a lot of nice restaurants. The Metropolitan Tavern in the hotel is pretty good and we had a nice meal a few blocks away. "

"This home was beautiful, immaculately clean, and perfectly situated for our visit to family in Portland. The owner was responsive to our questions, and her instructions were perfectly clear. The home itself has been thoughtfully renovated, and the appliances seemed like new. We loved this place and will check availability for future trips. "

"This is a super cute house in a nice quiet area. Nice aesthetic to the house too. Thank you kindly for the stay. Giving 5 stars to honor their deserved rating, but calling out a few things for other renters. Lighting outside is poor at night. There's only a porch light which doesn't help illuminate the yard or driveway. Can be tricky when running things in, in the evening. We didn't read the fine print about the 10am check out, which thankfully we were able to get a little leeway on. IMO 10am is too early and especially harsh in the winter. Hosts have very simple check out instructions which is nice, but I'd rather do some of the clean up to help push check out to 11am. We ran out of toilet paper by the last morning because 2.5 rolls for three gals over four nights just wasn't enough. Come prepared ;) "

"The house is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. There were so many small details and touches that just made the whole stay that much better. Extremely comfortable beds - we slept great! We’ll definitely book again when we are back in warmer weather in order to enjoy the backyard! "

"Chris is an excellent host. He met us at the house to show us around & aquaint us with things. The house is great, perfect for our large family gathering. Well appointed with everything we needed. The location was perfect, short walk to the Hollywood Transit Station, great proximity to grocery stores, shops, and tons of restaurants. "
