"The room was average - nothing special, although in a good location downtown. The views from the pictures in the booking are nothing like what we saw from our hotel room. The bed was comfortable, but we did have a bright purple light shining in from the building across that was visible even with the blinds shut. Our biggest challenge was the check-in with the airport transfer. There was confusion, and it seems like a technology issue, which happens and I can understand that. What was upsetting to my wife and I was the staff and the shuttle driver being rude to us. The shuttle driver was telling us we did not have a hotel reservation (not sure how he would know that). The woman checking us in said that we never talked to anyone from the hotel about an airport shuttle (in which case, I'm not sure how there would be a driver at the airport with our name, picking us up, and bringing us to the hotel). I also offered to explain and show the entire chat history on my phone taking place with staff from the Airlie Beach Hotel to arrange this transfer. This was challenging, as while trying to explain and answer their questions, I couldn't speak a full sentence without being interrupted. It got sorted, eventually, and it seemed like the shuttle driver blamed the hotel for not booking it properly, and the woman at the check-in apologized. But what an abrupt way to be "welcomed" to the hotel. "

"Beautiful condo like space. We had a two bedroom, full kitchen, dining and living rooms. Laundry in room. Two bathrooms with showers. So much space and very comfortable! Beautiful balcony space and pool access! We had an amazing stay with our family of 5. "

"Fantastic house. The aircon in nearly every room was an absolute life saver. The 3 showers were fantastic. 10 minute walk to Airlie was great. We were tossing up between booking this place and booking a stay on Hamilton Island. Ended up doing both as well as going bareboating but I've gotta say at half the price with access to all of the amenities of Airlie town this place was just superior to Hamilton Island in a lot of ways.Great value for money would recommend."

"Carol at Reception was most informative and efficient. The apartment had everything I needed and was quiet and spacious. Very well-stocked! I loved the lush vegetation surrounding my balcony. The pool was excellent; there were noodles, air mattresses and other toys. Location was great! Close to the lagoon (pool). A good cardio workout to get to/from busy, loud Main Street."

"The rooms and amentities are great, and we stay here everytime we come to airlie, however this last visit, the cleanliness of the room was not great. Piles of dead ants by the balcony door, dirt and garbage still underneath beds, and dirty window sills. "
