"Our first room, bed had hair, pillows stained, and towels also had stains. When we informed the front desk, the woman was very accommodating and changed our rooms. She was sincere and helpful. Beyond that first room we had an enjoyable stay. A local told us it is one of the best places to stay."

"This property offered a very convenient location for what we intended to do on this trip. We wanted to visit downtown Duluth, the Canal Park area, the Aquarium and the Lake Superior RR Museum. Staff was competent. The parking was sketchy. The bed was good, pillows were fair, temperature control was satisfactory. Coffee was available in the lobby and was good; breakfast was not available. Overall, the property is ready for a facelift, but it was satisfactory."

"Our room was very spacious but a little dated. The continental breakfast really didn't have much to offer. Easy to get to Duluth's Lincoln Park neighborhood an downtown. Very quiet and over all a nice place for our needs."

"Check in lady was less then friendly. Made you feel like you were bothering her. Didn't mention you have to use the room key to get on the elevator. Only after standing there for a bit and another couple staying there came to the elevator did we find out. They weren't told either. Hot breakfast was cold and eggs were rubbery. Hot tub was luke warm not hot. Rooms were big with lots of room"
