WOW what a location! So blessed to be a guest! The ocean view from the king bed is still fresh in my mind a month later. The local farmer's market was just right, with fresh fruit, local crafts and macadamia ice cream. Bed was good and furniture in great shape.
That said: This place seriously needs a renovation. Like, maybe starting at the waterproofing (to check for mold), replace or renovate the windows and sliding door (which don't); consistent base moldings, a fresh coat of paint (throughout, not portions) a new shower fixer mixer (which doesn't come out at you when you turn it on), you get the idea. Its just real tired of being a rental and needs to be loved.
Ok so big thanks to Chris the property manager who answered our call when we realized we had not received the code to enter, then showed up quick and made the garbage disposal operate ... and tighten up the toilet seat so we could sit without sliding. You made us laugh and all was good.
Look, I'm not trying to step on anyone's dream here. It is what it is, and in the end, it is in Hawaii!
