Ted and Carol were so hospitable. Ted met us at the door and walked us around to make us feel right at home. Carol made goodies for us to snack on. The other guests were extremely friendly as well. Absolutely love the place!

It is a very old home, which I love the charm, character and history. But everything is clean and where necessary, updated. They’ve infused so many lovely details into the room, I really enjoyed my stay.

Cute BnB in the heart of Chill CT Country

Great cute little place tucked in between Mystic, Mohegan Sun, and Foxwoods. The hosts were great, the room was cozy, the grounds were relaxing and chill. Went with my fiance and dog ($35 dollar pet fee) and we had a blast. Ask about it being a haunted house!!! Our dog protected us! Such a relaxing time, would definitely consider rebooking.

A great find!

OUTSTANDING!!! Could not have had better weather. The hosts were incredible and went out of their way to ensure everything was working. Thew room was excellent and the bed was so comfortable. The Breakfast was fabulous and very filling. As far as I could tell everything was beyond my expectations and i highly recommend that you check this place out, minutes from both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

Everything is "unique" about Captain Grant's!...The perfect hosts Carol and Ted; the ambience; the beautiful furnishings; the cozy room with all the amenities; the absolutely fabulous breakfast w/ mimosas, pancakes with real maple syrup and blueberry topping on a exquisitely, complete totally antique, setting table arrangement; all the available extras...beer, wine, coffee. tea, brandy in the room, etc. A most wonderful experience

SPECTACULAR

Absolutely amazing! Ted and Carol are some of the most wonderful hosts. The building and rooms are incredible. They offer many amenities, a full fridge to use for your leftovers, a mini fridge stocked full of drinks, a game room with over 50 DVDs, pool table, board games, you name it! They offer the most delicious spread of food the next day. Coffees, teas, and an elegant sit down Victorian style breakfast. We have no complaints, and would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a beautiful getaway.

The environment was a step back in time! The staff was beyond fabulous. The food was great and hospitality amazing. I was a little concerned with the media hype on ghosts but we had none.
