"We had a fortnight's lovely holiday here - I thought the cottage was well-equipped with what we needed. The pool was really nice and the pool sessions for our household worked well. "Absolutely amazing place. Loved the shepherd's hut, peaceful and private. Everything you needed was in there and really comfortable. Ginnie and Andrew couldn't do enough for you. Close enough to everything to explore. The pool was awesome (and the hot tub). Had a few games of foot golf which was so much fun. Would absolutely not hesitate to stay there again. Even had a lush digital welcome sign for me and my husband. Really was a super awesome place with the best owners Thanks both xxx"

"Only stayed for one night but next time will stay longer. Room was great with balcony which had sea views and a pleasant breeze. The car park is only big enough for a few cars with a cliff charging stations but there is plenty of free parking around the hotel. Fantastic location on edge of harbour and close to everything."

"Booked room only in a "Very good" room, which i would probably describe as good. The pictures online make it look a lot bigger. We travelled in the heatwave, and the small window in the rooms only opened a few inches. There was a small fan provided, but for me, it just moved the hot air. Due to the heat, I didn't get much sleep. Also at 6am on Monday morning, the bin men came, crashing, banging and emptying the bottle bin at 1000 decibels. Prior to arrival, I rang to request a parking space as a blue badge holder. The lady I spoke to said they had a space, but it was about 40 steep steps down to the hotel. She explained there was a pay and display car park up the road, on the flat. On arrival, we went to the hotel car park, and wow, she wasn't wrong. I took a while to get down the steps, but knew there was no way I would be getting up them. On check in, the lady I spoke to took us to see an accessible room, but it was quite small and dark, so stuck with our original room, up two flights of stairs, no lift due to the age of the property. On departure, I found it easier to exit the hotel, and walk the route to the car park along the main street. Uphill, but no steps. All in all, if you have any mobility issues this isn't the place for you, however the lady on check in went over and above to find the most suitable room, and even offered to carry our bags. We did not eat at the hotel. I'd give it a 7 out of 10."

"Exceptional Stay – Best in the Area! Our family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I cannot remember their names, but the receptionist and the staff member who helped us find parking were incredibly friendly and helpful.We have stayed at several other hotels in this same area, but the staff service and overall cleanliness here are far superior. We highly recommend this property and will definitely return."
