Wir waren das erste Mal auf den seychellen und da wir uns für das Insel hüpfen entschieden haben, waren die ersten 3 Nächte bei Pierre in Les villas d'or unser erster Aufenthalt 😍 sehr privat, alle überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Strand direkt vor diesem gepflegten Anwesen - der Sand wie Puderzucker, so weiß und so wenig los : jede Beschreibung auf den Reiseseiten entspricht genau dem, was man hier bekommt 🤗 lange Zusammenfassung: wir heiraten in ein paar Tagen in Mahé und es tut uns jetzt schon leid, dass wir nicht hier bei Pierre heiraten!!! Es ist einfach traumhaft in allen Bereichen!!!! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder und dann aber länger!!!! Auch Georgina war so eine Liebe und hat uns perfekt betreut, auch der Junge, der die Kokosnüsse geerntet hat und der Mann, der uns das Paddel zum Meer gebracht hat - einfach alle 😍😍😍 ganz herzlichen Dank ihr Lieben!!!! Eine wunderschön gelegene, sehr gepflegte Anlage, die bei manchen Sachen ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Too many cons and not enough pros

I don’t want totally discourage people from going here because there are pros to the place and the cons may not be things that may dismay others from booking here. Pros: The staff were nice, décors was nice, kitchen well equipped, pool always clean and the room very clean. Communication with the establishment was quick. Cons: Biggest was the internet was very poor. would be kicked off in the middle of attempting something and never strong enough to open a page on the net or rarely even receive or read email, cable tv is advertised, upon arrived there were many channels and then the next three days were only one or two. It would have been nice upon check in to get more explanation about the island and good beaches to go to etc..normal things you would do upon check in on vacation to a hotel. Although check in was swift and the room was ready there wasn’t a map and tourist info for the island given (there was a nice beach on the other side of the island that was free to visit but you need to reserve a day before but they never explained that to us upon check in. Basic tourist information that could have been passed on. The beach was not good. There were tons of algae due to winds/currents that also brought misquotes. This was explained to us and beyond their control but other beaches were better. Too bad because otherwise beach was nice. If you have a car like we did not an issue but nice to walk on the beach in the morning on a clean beach with no algae.

Home away from home

The villas are simply out of a dream and the staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel like home (away from home). The manager, Pierre, who has lived on the estate for 17 years, obviously loves the place and manages to make you fall in love with it too. Do not hesitate to ask him and he would make anything possible - from calling a sea taxi to pick you up from the beach to little islands for snorkeling, to giving you kayaks, bikes or movies to watch at home on a rainy day... or butter for pancakes... your can ask him anything. We had extremely hot days and extremely rainy days. so we have seen all sides of the place and we love it.There are 7 giant turtles on the estate and all the Seychelloius birds and lizzards that you would otherwise have to search for in the national park Valles de Mai, so it really cannot get much better on Praslin.

Endroit paradisiaque. Calme. pas loin du village à pied. Et un arrêt de bus en face de l'hôtel. le personnel est au top. À notre arrivé on nous a donné pleins de conseils pour que notre séjour se déroule bien et sur les choses à faire sur l'île. on nous a également recommandé quelqu'un pour les excursions.

This isa 5* place to stay at. Staff are excellent. Gardens of the best. Les villas de Or even supply a black cat that moved in. We nearly took it home

not a good good value for money

The villa was not good considering the price as there were so many insects and mosquitos everywhere. TV was not working properly.The staff was friendly and helpful.The location is good.

Quiet and easy

If you want to relax in a quite place, that's it, no noises, few people around. The personal of the hotel can very quickly arrange for your wishes, like a taxi, diving, or restaurant reservation. The houses are spacious but not luxurious. The beach is at 20 meters and is of white sand but it is nicer 1 km north, you can easily walk there. We highly recommend to dive, it is beatiful!

Sehr sauber, schöne Bungalows. Direkte Strandlage. Einzig die Bauweise ist etwas älter und man hört daher im Doppelbungalow die Nachbarn etwas. Wunderbarer Garten.
