The stay was incredible. Far enough away from the touristy crowds to have a peaceful stay but easily accessible to the tourist areas. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever visit positano again.
Quaint hotel, hospitality 100%. Our room had a great view and was spacious. Away from the positano crowds and close to the less crowded Fornillo beach. Just be ready for lots and lots of stairs.
We absolutely adored our stay! The staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful, the breakfast in the garden was beautiful and convenient, and the room had a spectacular view. The stairs are potentially a challenge for some, but that is really the case in all of Positano. For us, the stairs were beyond worth the fabulous stay!
This hotel is classic Italian Villa style! Absolutely gorgeous in every aspect! Breakfast overlooking the ocean was perfect! And so close to Fornillo Beach!
We loved this staying at this hotel. The communication was amazing, the staff were friendly and the breakfast with the view was awesome. When we checked out, we were able to leave our bags there AND hired porters to deliver our bags at a later time right at the ferry station. Highly recommend staying here!
This place is awesome for a trip to Positano. The staff is incredibly nice and helps you with any questions you may have regarding the area or travel. Highly recommend staying here!
An amazing room and a really delightful staff. I had a balcony and view that was a live postcard experience. The room was large and spacious. My only note to future travelers is this location is hard to get to. Pack very light. Also, the WIFI was completely unreliable. All that said, I enjoyed my experience and would stay there again.

Absolutely best hotel view we have ever stayed at! Staff was phenomenal!
We had the absolute best time at this hotel and Positano! Andrea and staff were so incredibly helpful and nice! They helped us with anything we may have needed! We will definitely be back!!
Hotel Demora Fornillo was pure magic. The views, helpful staff, complementary breakfast in the garden and location were perfect. The location is on the north side of Positano, nestled up the hill (about 300 steps UP). We found this location to out of the busy downtown area, however just a close walk by foot! It truly felt like a vacation and only wish we stayed longer.
We stayed on the top floor and the view and the room gave us a lifelong memory. The staff is very kind. The only way to get there is by walking up the stairs from the shore or down the stairs from the road, and it is quite a leg workout.
The hotel was built into the side of the mountain. The staff and owner were very kind and attentive. The only negative and this applies to any hotel in the area is the amount of stairs you need to climb to go anywhere.
The staff were wonderful and thoughtful regarding our needs. They recommended a wonderful restaurant at the top of Positano and called a car service for us to get there and back. Wonderful
