Very friendly staff, beautiful building and common areas. Our room was quite basic, but nicely decorated and good value. It was ideal for our stay - which was to run the Great South Run. Perfectly located opposite the start/finish, with parking included and a great spot to meet friends and crash out with a drink post run.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was really quite lovely. The breakfast, which was a tad overpriced, was delicious and the breakfast room was very Poirot. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub luxurious, and the overall vibe was just very romantic and fun. The service was all nice and friendly. The view was of water, and it is close to the Hovercraft if you are into such things.

Not the best room, look at view

Poor room, poor view, nice staff, part cold cooked breakfast Had to return a beer twice because it was off, barman eventually replaced it with a bottle but did not adjust the £1.50 price difference.
