"The room was as advertised. It was clean and had a comfortable bed. The room we had was small but functional, with a nice common terrace outside. The owner/manager doesn't live on premises or keep the office open, and we had to call the posted number to check in and arrange for checkout. The location was good for us, offering access to several places we wanted to go, since we had a car, but there are few services in town. "

"Something of the worst, the room was not cleaned and there was a couple of nails in the floor which you stepped on. No WiFi working. But the worst thing was, the breakfast, everything tasted moldy, even the water and coffee. Never again!"

"We had a really great stay in Forgotten Garden Apartments. We liked the proximity of the sea shore, however quite a steep street led there. But it was good for some physical training, especially when you go up with a stroller. The apartment was clean, nice, but a bit small - two bedrooms accommodated only the beds. "Lovely spacious apartment in the centre of Trieste, very good value for money, especially considering the price of the hotels nearby. The bed had a firm mattress, as I like it, and the sofas in the living room were very comfortable. I loved the style of the apartment - very Italian, with parquet floor and visible stone bricks.
