The host was very helpful. The location was fantastic. However the conveniences are less than what we would have hoped for. Very noisy from the road. The listing shows outdoor dining, but it didn't exist. The clock doesn't work. No solid end tables. No mirror outside the tiny bathroom. No paper towels, tissues or serviettes. 2 bathrooms, one hair dryer (fixed) No towel rack in the bathrooms, no really good space for eating in the rental, no shelving for soap or shampoo in the showers. Uncomfortable sectional sofa, dirty floor and baseboards. Two different Ubers could not find the rental from the address given. All little things and many would be easy to fix and then it would be a really terrific place to stay.

Great local place to stay near everything. A market was on both sides. Best for no car and using Uber or walking around on own. Weekends are a bit busy and noisy but windows block out most of it. Join and enjoy or if a light sleeper consider earplugs if necessary.

Host was very friendly and responsive. The apartment is perfectly located in Gaia, à very short walk from all the downtown sights of interest. We appreciated having two bathrooms and a washing machine. It is an old building so some of the infrastructure was also understandably old. For example, the water pressure coming out of the shower head was sometimes very low.

The Property was as advertised. Very clean and tidy. Excellent location right on the river. Lots to do nearby. Not very big but perfectly suitable for the 4 of us as we spent most of our time touring the city. The host was excellent. Good communication with easy check in / check out. Thank you Maria!

Excellent location.

Location was amazing. We thought you should have handrails on the staircase to make it easier for seniors,. Also you need to have a clothes rack for drying clothes. You have lots of room to include a chest of drawers or shelves in each bedroom. We were there for 12 nights and had to leave most clothes in suitcases. We really liked that the apartment had such great views and each bedroom had a onsuite of its own.

Great location

Great centralized location to walk to public transportation (bus, metro,train station). Parking garage nearby but know you’ll need euros or maybe debit card to pay at first floor self pay machine. Credit cards were declined and caused a bit of panic to get car out, eventually Apple Pay on phone worked. Also hard to find when we arrived but great response from owner helped. Need to be in good shape for steps and walking!

Perfect location

Perfect location to explore Vila Nova da Gaia and Porto and it includes a free parking spot in the parking garage right across the street! We had a minor issue with a doorknob that came off, but the owner responded and fixed it right away. We highly recommend this property.

Schönes Appartement in toller Lage

Super Ausgangspunkt für Touren nach Porto, gaia, Strand, dourotal etc etc der Parkplatz ist Gold wert. Natürlich nachts noch laut, aber das weiß man ja vorher aufgrund der zentralen Lage. Schöne saubere Wohnung. Wir kommen wieder 😃

The location of this property was fantastic and all communications with the owners were very quick and accomodating. Both bedrooms could definitely use some drawers or even pegs on the wall as there is no place to store your belongings or even hang a wet bath towel but other than that the property was good.

Just perfect!

This location was perfect to explore both sides of the river. Walking distance to anything you need. Property exactly as described, hosts were very attentive to our needs. Nothing against the property but, if you cant handle a little street noise at night, you may not enjoy it. Wasnt a problem for us. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Close to everything

You can access Porto via short walk across the bridge. We cooked breakfast one morning and had a great dinner on the Porto side. Highly recommend this location!

Excellent location

Great place to base yourself during a Porto visit. Located walking distance to the port lodges in Gaia. An easy short walk across the bridge and you are in Porto. Space is nice with all the needed amenities. Convenient complimentary parking if you are driving. Highly recommend.

Great location, met the host who was very friendly. The apartment was dirty. There was used soap in the shower. Lots of dust on baseboards. The fridge needed defrosting. There were only two large towels and no where to properly dry them. The curtains looked dirty and blinds were worn out. Furniture was just okay. It lost rating for cleanliness and furnishings.
