There are many of these guest ready places which offer affordable stays in Porto(Oporto) . I stayed in the old town by the river, This apartment was spacious, it appeared newly renovated, and walking distance to many sites and entertainment. It is what used to be the workers quarters, lots of fishermen homes, skilled laborers, and tradesmen of the city used to live in the area. There are very steep hills and inclines, so it is not really ADA. But there are plenty of hotels that can offer those amenities. I thought I was choosing a apartment with a view or daylight, It has windows but they are very close to the next building. The shower drained slowly, which was a nuisance , but everything else was really nice. Oporto is going through growth and renovation and has room to grow and in need of investment, but the bones of the city the heart is beautiful and intriguing. I would suggest doing the tours, hop on hop off bus, all the markets, and the food. It is full of seafood. Great!!! There are several hidden gems around the place i nthe hills, you just have to look and maybe lucking happen upon them.

Easy checkin with passcode, place description matches the publication. It could have additional blankets, but there was ac/heater unit that compensated for it. Shower worked fine for the 4 of us without getting cold at all, amazing! There is no free/street parking around, but the paid parking nearby has ok 72h rates. I really recommend this place!

Property itself was ok - fairly new and well maintained apartment. The issue I had was it was in the basement and there was nothing in the listing to disclose this, to access it also is not easy on foot, you have to cross a big parking lot and it’s a very steep walk up a hill to find the property which is hidden away. There is no lift for luggage. Sound proofing also needs work, you can hear a lot of things outside, someone was listening to the radio full blast at 6am on the first morning and it was like it was playing inside the apartment. I complained to Guest Ready about the fact the property was in the basement and the best they could do was offer a partial refund, I have no idea how much and they have not come back to me about it. They initially offered free cancellation but after the 3pm check in, after being awake since 5:30am to catch my flight, this was not an option as I had no time to find alternative accommodation. The Guest Ready property I booked in Lisbon earlier in the week was even worse, I don’t think I’d ever book with them again after my experiences, it ruined our holiday.

Logement bien placé pour circuler aisément à pied dans l'ancien quartier de Porto, en retrait de l'agitation de la ville. Assez calme lorsque la voisine de la rue d'en face ne met pas la musique à 7h du matin... (c'est arrivé 2 fois en 5 jours). Très propre et très serviable avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Literie confortable. Bien isolé de la chaleur, et clim à disposition si nécessaire. Appartement peu lumineux car donne sur une rue étroite seulement d'un côté, mais au moins préservé du soleil et donc de la chaleur, donc non dérangeant. Hôte très réactif et efficace en cas de soucis.

Die Lager war sehr zentral, alles was man sehen will in Porto war fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und ordentlich. Check-In ging einfach, nachdem wir die richtige Tür gefunden haben (direkt rechts davon ist ein weiteres Appartement). Die Unterkunft liegt zwar im unteren Stock, aber für den Preis und die Lage absolut top.
