"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Family of 5 stayed for 5 nights in August. Apartment was in a great location and was very clean. The area was known to us but has become very busy since we were last there. The children loved the evenings in the sqare and the many beach days even though we were on yellow or red flag. Restaurants were incredibly busy."

The house is big and the kitchen is well equipped… it’s basically your home from home. .our daughter enjoyed the little pool and the room with the three beds was perfect for us :) We would stay again if we come back to the area in future. "Place was nice, had dark shutter/blinds. Large kitchen with 2 bathrooms. Had a washer and a nice outdoor deck. Had a dishwasher and kitchen utensils. There was AC unit though we didn't use much. There is a pool, ambient temperature. We walked to town center regularly and to the beach. Took day trips to various tourist areas."

We did not have a phone number for Joachim and when we called Homeaway, they couldn't locate him immediately. We found the property on our own by cruising the neighborhood, but had no way to get in. "Quiet and peaceful with plenty of room for our family time in north central Portugal. Beautiful Nazare harbor views - hear the waves crashing on the beach each morn. It is not in town so you will need a car to explore entire Nazare, but then again you probably have one to get here. Owner was very responsive to messages and we really had no issues."

"Great location, in the middle of the businesses and across the road from the beach. Restaurant and bar downstairs were great, you could smell the seafood in the hallways of the hotel but not in your room. The room was small but completely manageable since we didn’t spend much time in it. Beds weren’t very comfortable, probably just need to be replaced. As a whole, it was a good choice. No parking at the hotel, street parking was very hard. Parking garage around the corner 15€ a night was good....
