"Great spot. Very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. However, the street the property is located on is a very busy and loud area. You may hear extremely loud music coming from the restaurants and bars. The hotel does provide ear plugs, nonetheless. Other than that it's a fabulous place to stay. Absolute perfection. "

"The home was clean and well maintained. There are great views of the northwest arm and entrance to Halifax harbor from most of the rooms, including pool and hot tub. The interior decorating is cool including many wood features. Dan the property manager was responsive and provided good instructions on using the smart home features. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Halifax and this property."

"Didn't get entry instructions til just a few hours before arrival. Outdated cream and milk in frig. Not wiped clean. Floor has glue and stains. Looks dirty. Dust thick on top frig and wall shelves. Oven drawer not clean. Lightbulb burned out and fixture dirty. No replacement bulb No sheets pillows or blankets for extra beds. One is slippery futon. Other must be loveseat pullout. No topsheet for master so we had to go buy one for hot hubby Yard is gravel back yard so can't sit out and enjoy....

"We loved staying at Brett and Lara’s place. The decor, craftsmanship and attention to detail of this property cannot be beat! Our hosts anticipated our every need. Coming back to a clean and comfortable place was so welcome. We enjoyed talking with Brett and finding out about the history of the church, the paintings and the artifacts. We’d happily stay there again when we return to Halifax."

We walked everywhere we went - downtown to the Maritime Museum and shopping, nearby to the natural history museum and the Citadel and around the neighborhood. It was good to have a kitchen to make our own coffee/tea and toast in the morning and our supper after sightseeing during the day. We would stay here again."

"Loved it! Homely, eccentric, a stunning conversion. We had a great time in this gorgeous space and it was the perfect family base from which to explore and a ‘home’ to return to. "The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was perfect for a work trip with a colleague. Having parking onsite was great. The only downside was the early construction next door which clashed with our west coast body clocks. That will be a temporary disruption and not a problem for people who need to be up by 7.30 or are staying over a weekend."
