Dock your boat at Tropea’s main harbor, which has space for about 450 boats of varying sizes as well as lots of useful amenities.

The Port of Tropea is the main spot for boats pulling into and out of town. Park your boat here while in the region and discover a range of facilities, including water and electricity supply stations, toilets, a bar and other amenities.

The port features about 450 boat moorings capable of accommodating boats of up to 148 feet (45 meters). Book a spot in advance to ensure a suitable one is available. Once your boat is moored here, explore the town and the nearby beach, safe in the knowledge that your vessel will be protected. Only holders of magnetic cards and security codes can enter the marina. The area is equipped with surveillance cameras.

Take advantage of the many facilities available here. As well as offering electricity, water and fuel, the port also has toilets, showers, a laundry room and some automobile parking spaces. Log on to the Wi-Fi to research things to do in the nearby area. A shop selling nautical supplies is also located within the port if you need to stock up on supplies.

Stroll around the port and admire some of the other vessels docked here. Look for the 600-seat theater located within the port this complex hosts everything from cinema to music concerts to cabaret shows.

Non-boat owners can charter a vessel from the port. Spend a day sailing along Capo Vaticano admiring the white granite cliffs and secluded coves or sail out to the Aeolian Islands. Disembark at Stromboli to climb up to the smoldering peak of the island’s volcano.

The port is located just a few steps from the beach. Bring along a swimsuit and enjoy sunbathing and paddling in the blue-green Tyrrhenian waters. Rent sun lounge chairs and umbrellas and order food and drinks from one of the several lidos on the beach.

Find Tropea Port to the east of the Old Town, just a few feet from the beach. Dockage fees vary depending on the size of your vessel.
