"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Das Haus ist wundervoll . Wir waren sieben Erwachsenen. Alles war sehr sauber, alles war wie beschrieben und in der Küche war auch alles vorhanden und sehr sauber. Kleines mango, die Bäder sind klein und wenig ablagemöglichkeiten bei 7 Personen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Auch ist nur ein Bad für alle zugänglich, das eine Bad ist in einem Schlafzimmer mit dabei. Da ist es nicht so leicht zugänglich das es von allen nutzbar ist. Ein Sonnenschirm mehr wäre auch gut. Das alles hat den Aufenthalt nicht...

The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Not far to the coast and an hour drive from La Rochelle and Bordeaux with lots of beautiful Vineyards to visit in between, and a 10 minute drive to Saintes with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as good shopping. Brilliant and welcoming hosts with cute dogs, will miss breakfast and coffee by the pool in the mornings."

"We travelled 4 weeks through France. From Paris to St Tropez and back to Bordeaux and stayed at 8 hotels (all 5Star) This was our favourite by far. The personal touches, the amazing staff and the Chateau itself are all impeccable. Antony without prompting arranged our dinner and lunches as well as wine tasting locally. Nothing was too difficult and everyone from breakfast service to evening drink service couldn’t be more delightful. This will be our first stop on our next trip. "
