Was good for being central. It was cheap. However you really got what you paid for. Small smelly room with shared amenities. Felt safe but got out as early as possible. The smell gave me a headache.

This was a 'Grand' hotel when built nearly a century ago and still has much of the old-world charm. Its location is excellent, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked quietly, there were no noise problems, sign-in and departure were seamless.

Normal basic pub room, nice staff, unfortunately noisy through no fault of the pub, just the inconsiderate attitude of people today that think it’s ok to come in at all hours of the night talking loudly and yelling, slamming doors.
