"This place is amazing for a quiet getaway. It’s so secluded we thought we were lost! Even GPS was confused. I guess a lot of the clientele are locals because the restaurant was packed for dinner both nights were there. It’s an older establishment,but well maintained. It’s a beautiful location and the employees were so friendly.We would definitely stay here again!"

"This was the BEST cabin rental EVER!! It was so perfect - the view, the grounds to walk on, the trail and the hill on the property. The cabin was fully equipped and super clean and comfortable. They think of everything. We will be back again for certain. Nice to have a coffee on the chairs on our cabin porch in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening - amazing view!"

"The cottage is secluded with plenty of wildlife and amazing scenery. We were visited by fox, deer and hummingbirds!The kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfortable. Our host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.The short walk to the shore leads to a rocky beach with lovely views and awe inspiring sunsets.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Make sure to stop for provisions on the way to the cottage as the nearest grocery is about 30 minutes away."

"The house was adorable, very comfortable, really cozy and we felt like we were really staying in our own home. It overlooked the bay had great views. Well stock kitchen, comfortable beds, great lawn and really friendly for our dog Luna-- The location was easy to find and easy to get to local beaches and the town of guysboro to listen to music. Plus it was so quiet we could sit on the screen and porch or sit in the garden and just gaze and be very peaceful -- We were especially grateful to the host who handled a minor emergency quickly easily and they made it simple and not a bother at all"

"A magical, very secluded little cottage in the middle of nowhere for a very private stay for a small family. It's the cutest old cottage house, super cozy, right next to calm water. It's a small house, so everything is small. The kitchen, the bathroom, the bedrooms, the living room. It's also old. I love it because it's part of the charm, so for me it's a plus and certainly not criticism. Also part of the charm is that most appliances and furniture are old as well. So keep this in mind, the beds aren't that big and are old. Be ready for it. But I'm adamant that it's definitely part of the charm and I wouldn't change it. There's a lot included : most appliances, including fridge, stove, coffee machine, toaster, everything you need to cook. Towels, soap, shampoo are provided. There was even fresh eggs and blueberries waiting for us when we arrived. Lots of activities to do around. You can you the kayaks that are available with safety vests. There is a very private and beautiful beach at 5 minutes by car, with barely anyone using it, and the water was surprisingly warm. Note that since its quite secluded, there isn't much stores or restaurants around, and you'll have to drive 30 minutes away to find places where to buy stuff. I definitely recommend and would rent again any time. I wish I had stayed longer. "
