「Clean but very dated. Coffee and tea and kitchen well set up. Comfortable bed. Lounge furniture was very uncomfortable and the place is very tired. Curtains were falling off the tracks and outdoor furniture mis matched and tired. Very loud plumbing from not only our unit but from upstairs as well! It did us for an overnight prior to flying out next morning but the rating on Expedia does not match the state of the property. Not great area either.」

「Our host was great, but the location of the apartment was less than ideal. We had to walk by homeless and unstable people to get to our place with bags in the evening. The daytime is better. The apartment could use some updating also. I wish I would have looked into the surrounding area before booking this one. Cool fruit bats in cemetery the trees across the street. They were neat to see.」

「The apartment was clean, convenient, well equipped, and everything was in working order. Isabel and the host team communicated regularly and clearly and were responsive to questions even during a holiday week. Water views even from the ground floor, easy access to the waterfront Esplanade path ( note this ‘beach’ is not swimmable) and a 5-10 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk to the downtown and piers of Cairns. 10 minutes from the airport.
