"Overall impression was very good- I was a little concerned with communication as I expected to hear from owner or VRBO a little earlier. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. The cottage was very clean - there was a wet spot in the downstairs twin bedroom carpet but dried as we were there. The beach is close by and quite a nice area to swim. Overall we had a lovely vacation. "

"My family thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment on Sproat Lake. We kyaked, swam, hiked and fished with a nearby Charter based out of Port Alberni. A great Fall weekend get-away for couples and families alike. The hostess, Julie, was incredibly welcoming and accomodating! "I stayed here with my wife, kids, and mum. We used Bowser as a base to explore the coast line and beaches. The location is accessible and peaceful, with walking trails nearby. The house was perfect for us, well-stocked in terms of utensils and furniture, and comfortable beds. 10/10 would visit again!"

"Spacious, clean, comfortable house. Every amenity in the house, kitchen was fully equipped. Only downside was the traffic noise from the road behind the house but that generally settled down by 11 pm, but started up again by 6 am. Just fine probably if you are not a light sleeper. Never needed the air conditioning as the breeze off the water kept the house cool even on the warmest days. The beach has some small rocks at the high tide line but alter that it is all sand, truly amazing."
