I wasn't sure what to expect, because it's a hostel. You don't get your own bathroom, but they are clean and well kept. Also, if you have mobility issues, this might not be for you, since there are steep stairs to the rooms. If you're looking for a quiet place outside of the Wellington bubble, this may be a good spot. It has an beautiful front room that overlooks the harbor. I sat there several times with a cup of tea for hours. I ended up having interesting conversations with other guests that...

Have stayed there previously.Very handy to the main shopping area and motorway. Will stay again when next in the Region.

No kitchen.

Clean and conveniently located for shops. Kitchen facilities for a multi-night stay is a bonus.

Room was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and staff was accommodating. We arrived after 12am and they were helpful arranging a late check in

The BK motel in Petone was one of the best motels i have stayed in, the service was quick and effiecient the rooms were clean and of high stsndatds. I would reccomend this establishment to people who are wanting a private relaxing stay in Petone 5 Stars and more.

Air conditioning worked perfectly. Room was immaculate and kitchen had all the utensils I needed.

I booked this hotel based on reviews only. I went to Yelp and Expedia for reviews before I booked it. The room they gave me is quite spacious. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom, although the shampoo was not coming out of the bottle, when I messaged them if they could check it, they did within 30 minutes, also clean. There is a washer/dryer combo and was able to wash/dry my clothes before my flight back to Los Angeles. It is also located in the heart of Lambton Quay, a few steps from...

Such a cool space! Exactly the way to do eclectic, affordable boutique!

I stayed at this property for 9 days and it had everything one needs including a fridge, microwave, oven, sink and every kitchen gadget along with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. My room was clean and well appointed. My room was essentially a studio apartment. The prices are very reasonable. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Green Gables will be my go to stay on my next trip to Lower Hutt, Wellington.

Great location right in city center near unique shops and restaurants. Very walkable. Room was spacious, bathroom was nice. Sweet additions like Halloween candy were unexpected treats. Very easy check-in.

I don’t know what to say, really, as words would be impossible to convey the charm, beauty, and real friendliness of the proprietors! We were overnighting for the inter island ferry leaving Picton so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer. The accommodations were first rate and literally everything that was needed was provided plus more. If we had lacked anything, our hosts would have gladly provided it. The location is high on a hill overlooking the valley and bay so we...

Great room

Good clean hotel.

This hotel had only opened three weeks earlier when I visited, but it was already operating smoothly.

Ok location not far from Petone rail station which costs $5.50 peak and $4.50 off peak each way in to Wellington. Two supermarkets just down Jackson Street easy walk, Countdown and Pak and Save. Good room facilities including cooking facilities. Two TV's in one bedroom apartment. Plenty of eateries close by. Most of all.....It was CLEAN and spotless and a credit to their staff.
