"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. "We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"As there are no English reviews, here's the first! We stayed here in late September and the weather was fortunately good. The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful. There was always plenty of hot water . TV is French terrestrial but there is fast internet so we watched Netflix and Sky with no difficulty by streaming through laptop to the TV. "La maison est extraordinaire, le jardin l'est autant et nous avons adoré nous baigner, ou juste écouter la rivière qui coule à quelques mètres des terrasses. L'endroit est d'un calme absolu sans être complètement isolé, et le village avec toutes les commodités (et les départs de rando) n'est qu'à quelques minutes. Amateurs de tourisme de masse, allez ailleurs, fous de nature, réservez maintenant. Et en plus, les propriétaires sont adorables. Merci encore à eux."
