Great and vibrante at night with all the little restaurants and places to enjoy the culture and music. The only downside of the property was the lack of air-conditioning."

"Nous avons séjourné 8 jours. L’emplacement est agréable,reposant et pas loin de deux très beaux villages( classé plus beaux de France). L’hôte nous a très bien accueilli,la maison fut très propre et agréable à vivre. Randonées, visite des châteaux, découverte du lot et Garonne. Très bon échange dans le respect de notre intimité avec Bernard. Coup de cœur pour la piscine couverte et la terrasse très fonctionnelle (barbecue,plancha,évier,frigo..)."

"Point positif Emplacement, surface impeccable, silence, cadre, garage super Point négatif Pas assez de serviette et torchon Papier toilette Pas assez de produits de 1ere nécessité, sel, poivre etc…. Sinon satisfait de cet location dans l’ensemble "

"A few little problems on check in were quickly resolved House was excellent as were the grounds and the pool Lovely walks all around Fabrice was very helpful but does not speak much English. Fortunately we had French speakers with us A very enjoyable time was had by all"

"We had a great stay in this beautiful and neat house. The owner was living on the groundfloor and always friendly and helpful. Big plus: the pool. The house was quietly situated, but everything (shops and restaurant) was only a couple of minutes drive."

"The house was idealy situated for visiting many places of interest,Bordeaux,Bergerac and many chateau in the area. We were very disapointed with the standard of the property due to several issues.The house is very cold and damp and in some rooms has effected the wooden flooring,leaving a white deposit.Even in the kitchen, which has tiled flooring,surface water could be seen under our dogs bedding.The on-suite shower room wasn't very clean and had black mould around the shower tray and sink,which...

"The house, the pool, the garden, the space and the very nice owners pleasantly nearby and always willing to help without being too present makes this place a true jewel in the Perigord/Dordogne. A piece of France more than worth exploring. We warmly recommend this place to anyone. We and our children from 13 and 15 years old enjoyed it inmensly."

"Lovely small hotel. Friendly and welcoming, clean and comfortable. Great choice of continental breakfast at 10€. There is no lift but we don't mind stairs and didn't have heavy bags. We both slept well in comfort. Air conditioning worked well. Good quiet location in a picturesque little town. Highly recommended. "

Comfortable pre-flight stay

"Very good hotel in excellent location for easy walking access to Bergerac, including the old town. Didn’t try breakfast as had an early flight. Room was very comfortable, with aircon and fridge a godsend in 33C. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use pool as only in Bergerac for 1 day. Note: no reception after about 9pm, but door code provided. "

Fabulous property with warm and welcoming hosts

"This is a fabulous property so close to Bergerac. Serge & Beatrice are extremely welcoming hosts, who have put a huge amount of work into the pool and garden as well as providing outdoor games and bicycles. We spent most of our time at La Salagre out by the pool. Heated to approx 24 *, with beautiful planting, lots of sunbeds, both it and the immaculate garden are outstanding. Proximity to Bergerac is also a huge plus, with lots of lovely restaurants, bars and boutiques. We highly recommend a stay in La Salagre and will definitely be back!"
