"On arrival the restaurant was closed and upon asking the receptionist o was told there is no restaurant near by . The room was never cleaned and dirty towel was put back on the rail. Room was noisy at tines with main villa door being shut and people coming in and out also dog being left in next door room. The restaurant staff didn’t speak English. "The apartment was easy to find near the Black Church. Parking not so easy on a Saturday, but we were able to unload right outside the apt so it was an easy walk back. The studio is fairly basic but more than adequate for a couple of nights. You are only 3 minutes walk from the main square in old town. Communication by WhatsApp was easy and prompt."

"great location on the edge of the Old City plaza however the sofa bed was NOT comfortable and basic repairs could have been done. door was hard to lock and toilet seat was not screwed in place properly and very wobbly. Main bed was comfortable according to my roommate. Did have a washing machine which was great though I didn't need to use it for the night we were there. "

"We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. "We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but it was very crowded, especially with children. We tried to have a nice,formal dinner one evening, but children just started to scream and yell and play hide and go seek around us. The mother and father nearby seemed unbothered. We enjoyed the privacy of our room, and the fact that there was a balcony off from the room, which allowed us to have hot tea and enjoy the scenery."
