This was a very fun anniversary stay at a well renovated old building. The rooms are retrofitted so well as to make it a great option. We stayed in the Indigo room which was very spacious and was very cozy with the fireplace in the winter after a night at the Lava Hot Springs pools.
One word of caution. It is very hard to suppress the noise in a building like this though. You can hear almost everything that happens once things wind down in the evening. We felt a bit self-conscious about it in the late evening, even just going up and down the stairs late at night seemed so very loud.
Definitely a gem of a place in this little town.
We had a quick stop for the night on a road trip with 4 adults and 6 teenaged boys. The Sage House was perfect for our needs! Beautifully remodeled, with plenty of room for all of us, and a great yard for the boys to get out and play yard games.
Not much for food in McCammon, but there were a bunch of choices up in Lava Hot Springs, 15 minutes away. Beware, Lava was BUSY on a Saturday evening! Looked like a very fun town though! Floating, hot springs, live music, fun vibe! Wish we had more time to explore the area.
Awesome little boutique hotel. Loved the vibe. Comfortable beds. Pretty clean.
One heads up, a train passes right thru the center of the tiny town a couple times during the night. You'll hear it.
I’ve stayed at the Harkness hotel twice now and I can’t rave about it enough. It is so beautiful, clean, and the staff is so kind and helpful. I can’t wait for my next visit!
Great place to stay to have quick access (short drive) to Lava. We stayed in the Sage House around the block. It was cute, modern, comfortable and a perfect size for our group of friends.
We stayed in the pearl suite this time around and loved the room! It has an electric fireplace which was so nice because it was winter weather when we were there. It also has a full kitchen set up. Only thing we struggled with is the beds were much more firm than we’re used to. But overall, won’t stop us from going back. See y’all next year!
