Plouarzel offers an 11 km long coastline and an abundance of fine sandy beaches and small rocky bays. The highest megalith in France, the Menhir de Kerloas, also belongs to the municipality. From the picturesque fishing port of Le Conquet, boat crossings to the islands of Ouessant and Molene are offered. There is a bike rental service on these car-free islands. Something very special is a rubber dinghy ride (12-person boats) to the islands with seal colonies, a popular photo opportunity.
