"What a lovely comfortable gite to stop in for a week or more if you want. The enclosed garden was perfect for both of us and our dog. Carolyn was a great host. The area is beautiful with facilities available within 5 minutes and Huelgoat only 15 minutes away. We loved everything. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. "We were very warmly welcomed by our hosts who had a beautiful log fire going for us. The cottage is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nice and quiet and nothing is too far to visit. Even Brest is only an hour away. Would highly recommend"

"Le lieu est très agreable mais il aurait besoin d'un bon raffraichissement et d'un bon nettoyage. Les equipements sont datés et meriteraient un renouvellement (pas de micro onde/ pas de seche cheveux/ manque de materiel de cuisine (grande poele, casserole...). Et nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec me temps et n'avons pas profité de la piscine car elle n'etait pas chauffée. Dommage!"

"We found our stay to be mixed. First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks...
