"Absolutely recommend, perfect location and the house has a great layout for large families. Downstairs gameroom was a life saver as there is nowhere to go at night and kids were never bored ! First time at Shawnee/Pleasant and was also quite surprised as the mountain was larger than i thought and no lines for vaca week !!Also owner was over the top nice and offered another night for a discount. Sadly I couldn't take the night off and asked how much for a late checkout. She graciously told me 3pm was fine and not to worry about the fee !!Thanks so much, we absolutely will be back "

"This house was amazing for our three families to stay in! It was clean and convenient to the ski mountain. It has everything you need from linens to toys for the kids-even coffee to enjoy in the morning! We will definitely visit again!"

"Great property right on Moose Pond with easy access to the water. Very clean and well maintained. Our host was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Great spot for our family to gather and spend time together and our dogs had a blast!"

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First impressions of this log cabin home were outstanding. We thought we would be renting this year after year. The property was also amazing...two docks, separated by a long distance, a nice sandy beach, complete privacy and quiet. The kitchen are is small, but was well equipped. Beds are comfy. But...every night I heard noises consistent with rodents. Sunday my daughter woke us up screaming that there was a bat flying around the first floor room. We tried to get it out, but it just disappeared. After that sighting, we were on high alert, didn't really sleep well. Fast forward to Wednesday, we had two bats. As a result of bat exposure, we needed to get rabies shots. So lots of time wasted as a result of this cabin. ER visit in Bridgton for 6 of us + 4 follow up shots. I would not recommend this home until they straighten out the bat problem. Seriously disappointed."
