"Beautiful hotel and pub. Check-in was unfortunately not great, we did have to queue for 30min in the hall to be checked in due to the card machine not working. The staff was kind and apologetic about this but it was kind of annoying there was no dedicated check in area. We felt a bit in the way of other patrons trying to get a table for the dining room while standing there. The room itself was spacious and really well equipped (coffee, tea, snacks, water, good hair dryer). Beautiful bathroom & great shower pressure. Comfortable bed. It was a bit loud in the morning as the windows are quite thin and we could hear the kegs for the pub being loaded inside. But we were glad to be awake for the delicious breakfast. Honestly I would stay here again even though there were a couple hick ups along the way. The staff were helpful and the room very cosy which always makes the stay worthwhile."

"Hotel was in a great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but it had a fantastic sea view and it was well thought out so you had everything for a short stay. The shower was fantastic and the water hot. Our room was serviced every day. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. We really couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely stay there again."

"Such a beautiful cottage! Has a secure cute garden with bbq, tables & chairs. The two bedrooms are great size with two double beds so comfy with ceiling fans. WiFi & smart tv. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need (baking, pots, cooking utensils, some condiments, dishwasher etc) everything so clean. Brilliant location for pebble beach 10 mins, shops less than a minute walk, harbour 10 mins, boat trips, seafood etc. you can walk promenade for miles. Highly recommend"

"This was our second stay at Little Oyster and I hope it won't be our last. It's perfectly situated in the middle of Whitstable just moments from the shops, restaurants and beach, yet the location is incredibly quiet, especially at night. Although there is no dedicated parking for the house, free parking is easily found on residential streets just 2 minutes walk away so we tend to pay to park in the carpark opposite for an hour to unpack the car and then move it. The house itself is very spacious and stylishly decorated. It's feels cosy yet manages to stay very cool, even in hot weather. It is very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen, with everything you could need for your stay. The garden is a lovely sun trap and perfect for meals or a drink in the evening. The bathrooms are spotless, shower pressure is good and plenty of fluffy towels provided. My only negatives on this stay were that the housekeeping was not quite as diligent as on our first visit. When we arrived there was a dog poop in the garden, the dishwasher was full and the coffee machine had not been emptied so the spent grounds in the drawer had gone mouldy. We were also unable to empty the bins as requested as the metal bin outside for rubbish was full to the brim and we could not locate an outside recycling bin for the property to empty the kitchen one into. Those things were minor though and would certainly not put us off from visiting again."
