「This unit needs to be removed from VRBO. Owner did not provide door code til one hour after check in. Bathroom fan is black with mold. Unit is filthy. Cabinet doors are broken, walls are dirty and stained. No hot water. Beds were terrible. Kitchen lacks most everything that you need. Bathroom sink leaks water. 「We stayed one night and it exceeded our expectations. The owners were incredibly friendly and easy to contact, making us feel right at home. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The homemade breakfast was a highlight—absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We will stay again longer next time.」

「Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!」
