The staff are very kind & seem to all make sure to know you by name. As others said the included laundry service is a really nice feature, daily cleaned clothes for yoga and beach means less extra clothing to pack or dirty laundry to travel with. 「We had an excellent time at the Mikado. It was our first time to Costa Rica and it was probably one of our best holidays. Such a fun adventure. Lolo was an excellent host and if you do stay you must take advantage of her dinners. Incredibly romantic. The location is perfect. Quick drives to Tamarindo, Playa Avellanas and Playa Conchal. Great places to explore and then return to the peace and tranquility of the lodge. Absolutely perfect. 」

「The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars!
