"This house is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Marbella is a pretty town with a small market but not many places to eat. We loved the Tiki Hut which is a short drive, on isolated and black sand Marbella Beach! The bedrooms are air conditioned and the open air house has constant breezes. Unfortunately there was a problem with the water heater and oven during our stay but we spent a lot of time in the pool having fun. There is a charcoal grill but bring supplies because the local markets...

"The villa is just as pictured. And I could literally live in the salt water pool. This home is away from sights, so I definitely suggest arranging a driver, as the roads are difficult to navigate. But this also gives you tranquility. The concierge Dani is absolutely wonderful. She planned the trip ahead of time with us and even helped us with a couple difficulties that arose. We also recommend booking a meal with their kind Chef Adrian."

"Plenty of room for 8 adults and 3 young children. It is an easy walk to the beach from the property. I would recommend renting a golf cart or car to get to town and neighboring Carrillo beach. The pool and outdoor space were very nice. The house is stocked with plenty of supplies for cooking. Cleaning staff came twice during our stay and did a great job. Great stay overall."

"If you are looking for a trip to stay at the beach to surf or swim, this is a good place. It is nice, safe, secure, has most all of the basic necessities and my hosts were kind and helpful when I had questions or needed anything. It was close to a busy street and restaurants so there was a lot of noise at times. It was right on the main road yet near the end of it so you can walk to get to all the shops and restuarants."

"We had a wonderful stay at the property and the area. There were 8 of us and we all had more than enough space. Mariela was very responsive any time needed. The biggest challenge was finding the house the first night as we were driving in the dark from Liberia airport and unfamiliar with the area. Waze (the only map that works in CR) led us down a very rough rural road. So if coming in from the east or northeast, make sure you go all the way to the town of Matapalo before going down the dirt...
