「Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!」

「We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. Really nice spot, super nice people, Especially Emily, very talented and charming host. We will be back!!」

「One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! The kids enjoyed playing on the big lawn and walking along the river (except the flies!). It is a peaceful area outside town but we found great restaurants not too far away and we enjoyed seeing so many more stars at night. The WiFi was the only challenge - too slow for our teens or to load video but the signal...

「Lovely stay at Henckley Reservoir. Emily & Kim(s) gave nice attention to detail like the waters and snacks available for excursions. We rented a pontoon boat and Andre was a great captain showing us around the lake first. Loved having a clean private beach to ourselves and the paddleboards and kayaks were easy to use. The view afternoon and evening was lovely including the loons. Thank you so much! Cabin was very comfortable and clean and up to date.」

There were plenty of things to see on our walks and my son had a great time playing on the frozen shore of the lake.
