"My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. "The property is very nice and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the heated plunge pool many times during our stay. Kris was very responsive to any of our questions. The property is located within a few miles of numerous hikes. "We came here for a few days during the solar eclipse. Melissa and scott, the care talkers, were very sweet and attentive. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! "This was a great little cabin right on the water with a fabulous view! The extras like the kayaks were great for being able to get out on the water. A few things to note - the shower is in the bedroom, the bunk room is a tight fit to get in the door around the beds, the doorways are short (we had one person that is 6'5" and had to duck), and the lighting in the bedrooms isn't great.
