The price is right, the location is good, and the staff is friendly. However, our room was small and very stuffy, without any window to the outdoors. The room also had a full size bed, which isn't great for two adults, and the mattress was a little uncomfortable.

I needed somewhere at a reasonable price for one person in an en-suite room with breakfast. It met my expectations well and was central to everything I needed. There was a little noise but nothing like a party hostel 😁

This was not the property I thought I reserved. Apparently there are 2 properties under exactly the same name (Los Freyles) across the street from each other. While I looked up the name and description of one of them, the booking actually was done for the other with was pretty under par compared to the one I intended to book. A full fledged hotel with nice rooms a pool and great breakfast vs a dinky hostel with zero amenities and terrible breakfast.and the price difference was only $15. Expedia should have maybe noticed the issue. I believe they now renamed the hostel (Antana) to something else, although in the Expedia search, they are still named the same.

It was fine for one night, but the only outlet was near the ceiling for the TV, so we couldn’t charge anything. The breakfast was really good, and the staff were very nice.

Gem in the centre of town

Excellent location right in the centre of town. It is a basic Hotel but having said that, I would describe it as 'superior basic'. It is spotless, has everything required and the staff are friendly, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.
