"The rooms are beautiful and well maintained by the housekeeping staff on a daily basis. The pool water was clear and somewhat too warm in temperature... Would've liked to see some potted plants &/or palms on the pool deck... (We noticed several instances where pool tiles had popped off. Sad to see that!) Perhaps some fake plants in pots or planters on the pool deck that require zero water or maintenance are acceptable... Anything to break up the stark plain deck surface. Also loved the gazebo... A ceiling fan would've added a breeze to keep us cooler in the shade. The breakfast was delicious and has a great variety. Sadly, the girl manning the station was somewhat inhospitable... No greeting for the guests as we ended the breakfast area... Too interested in her own phone!! The reception staff: Morgan, Ashley, & Rachel were exceptional with their hospitality & service oriented approach. They offered cookies & water... So appreciated!!"

"Pictures didn’t do views justice! Place was spotless and easy to find. It’s not keyless and after we arrived Coach had us checked in and gave us tour in about 30 min. He was fun to visit with daily and check in to see if we needed anything daily. He even has driveway alarm so he can tell when coming or going which I think really helps keep you and your things safe. I highly recommend staying here and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. If you haven’t visited Lake Caddo/Big Cypress Bayou you’re missing one of the most beautiful places in Texas . Now I have to watch Caddo Lake the movie!"

"Awesome old house. Plenty of room for the whole family. Awesome water view with a boat ramp right in neighborhood. Only two things that wasn’t perfect but not game changer….boat dock at house needs repairing(usable but needs to be fixed soon) and new pots and pans would be nice! Would go back again if we go back!"

"This is a great little getaway spot for my wife’s birthday. Only 15 minutes from Jefferson and Caddo Lake, beautiful drives on the back roads, great view of the creek and awesome to have a fully screened in porch to get away from the bugs. Our misunderstanding was looking solely at the pictures made us feel like It was more secluded than it actually was."

"Inside was clean, great cozy space. Worked great for family of 6. We had a blast resting and playing games after a fun day canoeing and hiking.Cleaning staff was very friendly and kind.Minimal kitchen supplies, but enough to get by.Master bed needs a center support.The oven heats up the cabin a lot, so I don't recommend using it in the summer.Porch area needs a serious pressure wash, very dirty and full of spiderwebs.Beautiful view, but you are surrounded by a bunch of people in RVs and loading boats. Didn't quite have the privacy feel we were hoping for."
