About this property
Trailheads Steps Away + Stunning Views!
Faraway Lodge is the perfect cabin for multi-generational family gatherings. On the main floor, there are 3 roomy bedrooms/2 bathrooms, 2 large living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and walk out to wrap-around decks. There is a 4th bedroom that is a king suite on the upper level. There are two driveways with lots of parking, and the upper one does not require stairs to get into the house.
Love hiking and going for walks? Follow the path below the deck to two trailheads. Lots of info about hiking is in the digital guidebook, which you`ll receive as soon as you book.
You’ll love the views while you are grilling on the large propane grill, relaxing on the deck, or enjoying your morning coffee with the sunrise.
This cabin is a dream!
This 2900 sf log cabin is situated in the back of a 2-acre wooded lot adjacent to Tonto National Forest. You`ll feel like you are in the woods, but Pine restaurants and shops are only 1.5 miles away. It`s quiet and secluded and has views for miles.
The cabin has 4 bedrooms, 3 of them with king beds, one with two doubles, 2 full bathrooms and 1 with a walk-in shower. There are two lofts with twin beds, as well.
The front living room has a chalet window looking out at forest and mountain views, with access to the deck. A pellet stove keeps you warm in the winter with a cozy flame to add glow to the room.
The living room flows into a dining room with a table that seats 10, plus 3 barstools at the kitchen bar. The remodeled kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare fabulous meals, including small appliances such as a crockpot, waffle maker (the flip kind you find in hotel breakfast rooms), a blender, coffeemaker, wafflemaker, toaster, griddle, hand mixer, and more.
There is a spacious living room in the back of the main floor that also has a large chalet window looking out to Tonto National Forest with no houses or buildings in sight. This room has a large TV, games, ping pong, and children`s toys. Climb a ladder to the loft above with a twin beds on the floor. Kids love it!
The Primary bedroom is upstairs, and has a king bed, a smart TV, and ensuite bathroom. It opens to a private covered deck attached with comfortable furniture, heater, and even a twin bed with mosquito netting for a nice afternoon nap when the monsoons roll in. The loft has a very comfortable queen sofa bed and a chair/ottoman for relaxing with a book.
This is a special place to create memories and get the relaxation you crave.
You`ll have access to all areas of the house and lot except the garage, which is locked.

We had such an amazing time at Faraway Lodge. We had everything we needed and more. Debbie, our host, was absolutely great to work with. She checked on us and gave us suggestions of things to do. Would recommend this cabin to anyone with a group who is looking to get away and stay in Pine. We will definitely go back!
Such a perfect stay over the New Year’s holiday. This house has it all. It is spacious, clean beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and linens and everything you will need for your stay the host, Debbie, is such a fantastic communicator and check in throughout your stay to make sure everything’s at excellent standards. We will definitely come back again to enjoy the serene views and the warmth of a house this place brings.
The host was so great and accommodating. We loved the house and the outdoors. The views were outstanding and enjoyed seeing all the birds from the balcony. My daughter was able to feed them out of her hand!
Book it, you won’t be disappointed - guaranteed. Everything you need and more, with amazing views of the mountains, elk, and everything else Pine has to offer.
We have rented several different properties for our Executive meetings and this one is by far our favorite. It is light and bright, spacious and comfortable and lots of great space. Awesome outdoor space with some great hikes nearby and no neighbors too close.
We had a great time, the place was perfect. We hiked, shopped, visited the local restaurants and saw a lot of wild life. We had 8 adults 1 one year old an for dogs.
Debbie’s home is wonderful! Very clean, tons of room, incredibly comfortable for two families with room to spare! We had a wonderful time! Debbie checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for being a wonderful host!
We travelled to Pine for a family vacation, and this was an amazing 10 days of pure Pine paradise!! My family thinks I do too much research in picking places to stay, but everyone thanked me on this one. Amazing cabin, and we had EVERYTHING that we needed. It was private, and was roomy for 8 of us. Check-in was easy, Debbie had a plethora of information on the cabin and the area and made check-in and check-out seamless. We will definitely stay here again!! Oh, and our dogs loved it!!
We had a fantastic week in Pine, and this home exceeded our expectations as a family haven. The setting ensured utmost privacy, featured regular elk sightings, and offered ample room for family game nights. Every aspect of our stay was delightful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The house was spacious and extremely clean. It had all the essentials needed and then some. The property was nestled right on the forest line which made for incredible views (from every angle!) and gave us much peace and quiet. Debbie was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We are looking forward to our next stay here.
Beautiful cabin with many thoughtful touches.
Kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed to cook snd make our stay feel like home. Cabin was perfect combination of space to hang out together and also enough space to get away and relax alone when needed. Beds were very comfortable, we all slept very well. Communication from Debbie was superb.
We will absolutely rent this beautiful home again.
Place was exactly as pictured. Host helpful with great app. Kitchen had absolutely everything. Bathrooms stocked. Stayed midsummer and the AC worked great. Views were amazing. Elk everywhere in town. Deer wandering below the deck. Floorplan ideal for separate activities. Can have two movie nights at once!
This cabin was perfect for us (4 adults, one baby, and a puppy). We all enjoyed time outside on the various decks. The inside was clean and cozy (even though its large) it feels very cozy. We had a few fires. One with the wood logs outside and stargazed, which was incredible. One on the deck with propane. I've been to many VRBO's and I can say this was by far the best one. We all agreed and will be coming back. Debbie was a pleasure to work with. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. A
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The views from the large deck were unbelievable. Our large family with kids had plenty of space to spread out and were very comfortable. The play room was full of games and toys for all ages. We cooked every meal for a week at the cabin and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need including spices and cooking tools. We also brought our furry friends and they loved the space. Communication with the host was the best I’ve ever experienced. It backs to the National Park and trails nearby. I would highly recommend and book again in the future.
We celebrated my son’s wedding with a small family gathering. The place was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The ping pong table was a hit! The beds were comfortable and the cabin was comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. No need to bring your own spices or baggies. The large table comfortably sits 10 and there was a card table and chairs for a game of cards. Debbie was the most accommodating and kind host. She made sure we had everything we needed. The experience was perfect. I would stay here anytime I was in Pine, Arizona again. Loved it! Also location was REAL close to restaurants and market.
An excellent host who takes wonderful care of her property. The house is the most exceptionally appointed rental I have ever been in. Everything you can think you might need is already there. It’s also a beautiful house and property. I would highly recommend.
We needed a place for eleven adults ages 57 to 75 and this home worked perfectly. We did lots of cooking, drinking and card playing and had a wonderful time. The property was incredible, and the host was wonderful . Especially appreciated the nicely appointed kitchen and huge deck and tons of outdoor furniture. Will definitely stay here again.
Our stay was absolutely perfect. Communication with the property manager was very prompt and the cabin top notch all around! Best rental we have stayed in the Pine AZ area and we have stayed in many. Will definitely be back!
The house is spectacular! We all enjoyed the lovely surroundings, the inviting kitchen and how nicely stocked the kitchen is. The beds and linens were wonderful, and there was plenty of seating inside and out. And having AC during the summer even up in Pine was much appreciated. We would love to return to this special place. Thank you!
Debbie did such a fantastic and above and beyond job helping my dream honeymoon come to life! She was so gracious and accommodating. All I have to say is my new wife's tears walking in said it all! Our stay was perfect in every way possible. The cabin is well taken care of and perfect if you'd like to get away and have a peaceful retreat away from everything. We spent all 5 days there with no reason to leave. The properties seclusiveness and backing up to federal land makes you feel like you are out there all alone. The trailhead at the back side of the property was great for hiking and also gives you access to the wilderness and the possibility to see and interact with wildlife. All in all I couldn't recommend a better cabin and/or host. Our stay was unbelievable and I couldn't thank Debbie enough for all her hard work and dedication to making sure that romance never dies!
