"We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Le Relais. The house was lovely, traditional French. we were a family party of 20, 9 children ranging from 5-16 and 11 adults. The house had plenty of space for us all, the communal areas e.g. kitchen, dining room, living room, and outside space were fantastic. Barbara, the owner was there to welcome us and give us any advice required. the pool area was lovely and a big hit with the children, as was the games room. Free Wi-Fi was also very popular...

Accueil très chaleureux avec en plus des mirabelles délicieuses!La maison est parfaitement équipée et très propre, nous étions 16 au total. Calme assuré pour le repos mais proche de la ville de Brantome pour les visites, Aubeterre pour les balades en canoe et quelques beaux chateaux dans la région. Tout le monde a bien profité de la piscine qui était très bien entretenue. Nous recommandons vivement! Merci beaucoup!!!"

The setting is rural, but we found plenty to do out and about, particularly at Lac Jemaye and Aubeterre Sur Dronne.
